I saw this contest past few days and many were so thankful about Steem and some of them shared life stories. Actually, this is the great part of Steemit. Usually if you talk about emotional issues, some will just laugh or kid you around. But in the Steemit community they reminds you are just a **human**.

***I'm already 23 years old still studying and staying at my parents house.*** I failed my 2 years of studying in my previous university. After that I worked as a Call Center Agent then Assistant Teacher and then Call Center Agent. I consumed 3 years just working for my family. I was exposed with bad doings like ***alcohol, cigar, late nights, and learning to lie to my parents.*** I'm just a lone wolf waiting for its prey but the prey already left me. I wasted my chances and now were struggling to our family's financial problem.

Before, I just wandering on the internet doing some boring stuff. Always checking my social media page, waiting for someone to interact, or spending the whole day looking at other peoples day.

But when a friend of mine introduce me to **Steem.** I found it very interesting and productive. Instead of goofing around on your old social media account, how about posting blogs and the same time earn also.

Steemit changed something about myself like the way I think, the way I write, and the way I see in life. Such as in Arts, Blogs, Photography, Videos, and many more. I didn't expect that I would stay here since I am still a student and I also do filmmaking that is why I have a hectic schedule. Then the community shows me what really Steem is, its about helping and sharing. The community gives a wonder response one every I post I made even I got few followers. They always give tips and tricks or suggestion on how to improve my content. I can totally see the humanity on this platform.

I'm sure everything changed when I joined. The way I talk to people, the sudden eagerness to share something, my perspective in art, and especially my English skills. 😁

I am now so focused on my studies and aiming to improve my skills. Even my mom noticed that I no longer go out late night. I am also gave some of my earnings. She asked me why I'm always on my phone and I told her that I'm writing a blog. She smiles and throws an object to my face. Haha, no kidding. It turns out that I found a productive hobby that I can ensure my future.

This transition of the year taught me a lot and my journey is still on going. I'm also proud that along with this ride I'm also helping my family to improve. Last year's hardships and blessings that I will continue treasure everything in my life. And I'm proud to say that Steemit was also a big part of it.
