# Park's Obsession with Her Hair <center> </center> ## Park's Private Hairstylists  The ‘Chung sisters’ have been visiting Park’s private house everyday since her impeachment. They are staying at her house about an hour everyday starting at 7:30am since the 14th of March. After being impeached, Park severely restricted her private meetings before her prosecution. But the Chung sisters are the exception. Park has been getting her hair styled and make up for years while she was in office by Chung sisters. The Chung sisters were also suspected of meeting Park when the Sewol ferry was sinking on April 16, 2014. When Chung Song-joo the elder sister had an [interview](http://english.khan.co.kr/art_print.html?artid=201612071831547) with Korean media SBS, > the reporter mentioned that the president's hair was disheveled when she visited the disaster headquarters, Chung said, "That was intentional, because it was an emergency." When asked, "Did you deliberately make her hair untidy like that?" Chung answered, "Yes." She seemed to claim that she disheveled the president's hair to fit her civil defense uniform ahead of her visit to the disaster headquarters.   By now you’re thinking why is she so obsessed with her hair? Park is obstinate in her desire for only 'up-style' hair which is takes a lot of time and effort. So, in Korea women do 'up-style' hair only on special days like for their wedding or on graduation day. If you look at her hair it is reminiscent of her Mother. Is this just a coincidence?   The Chung sisters run a beauty salon called "Toni & Guy" in Gangnam, Seoul. Experts in the beauty industry estimate that the cost of Park's hair and make-up is certainly extreamly high.  If you get hair and make up done by the director of the salon everyday and ask them to make house calls you will be charged additional fees. The estimate cost will be, at a minimum, $9, 000 a month which comes to approzimately $161, 000 - $220,000 a year. After her impeachent, Park’s income is only $1, 500 from her national pension plan each month. Also, according to her deposit report last year, her bank account balance was only $900, 000. There is growing curiosity surrounding how Park can afford to employ a luxury hair salon everyday and why she's so obssed with her hair.
