Sorry for the delay in announcing the winners.

This time around for week #2 of The Random Games contest we had 5 entrants. While that is an improvement over week #1 we would still like to see that number keep growing. It really is pretty easy to enter for a chance at winning some portion of the prize pool, in this case $10 SBD.

This week we did a Scavenger Hunt where I tasked competitors to seek out posts here on SteemIt that included 10 items. They could find a post with an image of the item, a piece or art using the item, or a post that simply mentioned the item.

Our entrants certainly did use their imaginations a bit and came back with some interesting posts. Of course due to my delay they are all closed now, but in the future I will do better to share things while the other posts are still open. One of my goals was to have people out there searching for things and finding posts they may not have seen otherwise, as well as getting them to essentially curate these posts into their post for all their followers to see and discover.

It worked! The entrants found some great posts along the way. I really did like their creativity in some of the findings.

I asked for an 80s movie and people shared posts about Dead Poet's Society, Predator, Star Wars (franchise), a foreign film called The Motorcycle Diaries, and my favorite of the bunch A Nightmare on Elm Street.

My favorite result in the whole bunch was one of the links submitted for the funny or weird hat. I had just seen one of these on the Olympics coverage and was pleased to see someone used it for the Scavenger Hunt.

Anyway, let's get to announcing the winners. The total possible points was 36. I will include a link to each person's Scavenger Hunt post.

The only difference in points was caused by the order each person entered in. The three entrants that were not tied simply repeated one or two posts used by someone before them which meant no point for being first to use it.
