</center><h4>Special Activities I Have been Involved and Updates</h4>

During last month I could arrange so many initiatives with Steem Sri Lanka team.

**1. @steem-sri.lanka 100K SP Celebration and Financial Planning**
This is the happiest news I must share with you as the Country Representative of Sri Lanka. On the 12th of April, we passed 100K with help of all our members and other generous delegators and sponsors' support. Then we set the goal to 107 000SP to minimize the risk of removing steemcurator01's prize delegation and at the time of writing it is **107,438.58 SP**

We will continue building accounts until we can produce 10$ from all resources we have with affordable voting mana (45% to keep a rough target). In the initial level, we have discussed focusing on 5$ for 45%. It is good to keep plans as secrets :)

**2. SL-Charity**
In April under phase I, 4 projects completed successfully. The team is revising plans for the next phase this May. We got an awesome idea from a newly joined member @nipunaeka89 through our Facebook campaign. We are currently discussing that. 

There are 480K LKR worth tokens and members including me set 5-20% beneficiaries currently. They have informed to set 50% or more beneficiary if they like and there is no pressure about setting for a beneficiary from our end.

**3. Steem Sri Lanka 3G Contest Serries**
After successfully finishing 8 successful weeks we are having a 3 weeks break in order to clean up the community. This will discuss later. This event gave a huge opportunity to members to get popular outside the community and grow their positive attitude.

**4. Less Finding from Plagiarism Bounty**
Even though it was an impressive idea, this project did not give us the proper result. Hunters are focusing on easy observations rather than digging down.  We received some articles under #srilanka tag. But we thought it would be great to allocate our human resources for this in the future.

**5. Facebook Campaign**
This is completely handling by @damithudaya and I am involving when need more knowledge. Around 10 people join the group and some people have matters of using English which is a resistance to us. Must thank for him to spending time on it.

</center><h4>Plans for the Coming Month </h4>

**1. Waiting for New CRs**
Some responsibilities are not happening well by my self like new commer community activities. There were 3 applications and I am looking forward to sharing some of my responsibilities with them and start some new projects.

I have the following changes in my head during next two months,
* Complete audit on community (checking their difficulties of markdown, referencing, mentioning curators, filling knowledge gaps)
* Next sl-charity event
* Bringing all Sri Lankans under the coverage of @steem-sri.lanka
* Implementing a delegation details bot
* Migrating @steem-sri.lanka delegator fanbase to @steem-fanbase
* Online meetup as we have many new faces
* And closing some of open initiatives
* Lift @steem-sri.lanka to 110K by end of the May

Hope new country representatives will help with these :)
