My Favorite X-Box 1 Game so Far: World of Tanks – War Stories

I can't believe that this game is free(as long as you are a X-box gold subscriber) because damn this game is a major time suckage in a good way. You start out with a single tank and grind for XP and silver to buy upgrades and new tanks. It reminds me a lot of grinding for new gear on WOW for PVP. Controls make sense, too. Mostly it's Left stick is movement, right stick is aiming, and right trigger is firing. Simple. 

You can spend real world fiat money to buy gold and then convert it to an amount of silver that would fill a Bangkok rentboi's colon. I haven't found a need to do that because the grinding didn't get tedious(shhh, don't tell the game designers that or they'll double the price for everything.)

World of caution. When you get the Lee tank have patience. It's a gigantic flaming piece of  runny spider monkey turd. It doesn't have a traditional turret and it's main gun is mounted low and off to the right. You will want to take that into consideration when trying to find cover to fire from. Also take into consideration that it's taller than two NBA players glued together and slower than the POTUS's bowels after his daily allotment of Arby's.

When you get started use the training grounds to get familiar to the controls. This is basically the single player area and then when you think you are ready head over to multiplayer. This is PVP, you are going to die, a lot. Don't worry, as your skill and vehicle get better you'll die a lot less. Happy hunting.
