Hello Stemians..
How are You Stemians Friend ? We meet again..
**Velux Daylighting** is a very helpful application or simplify in designing architectural building which Velux Daylighting application helps architects in analyzing the natural lighting orientation in the building that will be built
So the architects know how much lighting can be in each building space. Which is when it is useful to know which space requires more natural lighting or to avoid spaces that do not require excessive lighting.
Below this one will make a simple example of the usefulness of velux daylight applications on architectural building design.
first open the velux application file. if you do not have a velux app. You can download it at [www.velux.com](http://www.velux.com/article/2016/daylight-visualizer)
okay we go by opening the app

- afterwards open the file in the top right corner, after that select import project to enter 3D building files that will be in use in velux application.

- choose a sketchup file that has been prepared for use in velux applications.

- we can know the space that there is more natural lighting and that black color space that is not exposed to natural lighting

The result of this process we can know which room has more natural lighting and also which room does not get too much lighting. we can also measure how much lighting is contained in the building space. with this is very helpful in planning on the building to make the building design more perfect in terms of natural lighting and also can save electrical energy.
