This is why so many teachers want to dumb down their courses.

If you were to ask me what seven ways to be smart are, I would say that thinking outside of the box is the number one thing. There are too many rules, regulations, and laws in this world that people don't bother to take the time to figure out how they work. You've got a lot of laws that pertain to the environment, and many of them aren't very well thought of. Don't be lazy or stupid if you want to live your life without the risk of getting in trouble. You can do this if you think for yourself.

Second thing that I think you need to learn to be smart is how to think. This includes being able to reason things out. A lot of people are afraid of the idea of thinking and reason out things, and this is a big mistake. When you think, you can see everything around you.

The third thing that you're going to have to learn to be smart is how to write. You may think that you don't have to learn to be smart because there are so many people who can type and write, but in my opinion, that's not true. You're going to have to learn how to write well, because the more that you write, the more you'll understand.

The fourth thing that I'd like you to know is that your mind will always be at work. This is important because if you're not at work, you're not using your brain. When you're at home, you may think you're doing everything, but you're actually doing nothing. If you're working at home, you're probably not even at work.
