ULOG # 34: Real life Or Secondary Life

How much time did you spend online 10 years ago?
And how much time do you spend online now?

If you observe this, you will find that we spend more time online. We were online before, but we did not spend that much time that we spend right now. Because of advancement of technology and internet, we see a huge change in our life style.

Our grandparents did not grow up with smart phone and internet. You might get upset that kids are on their phone and spend time over there. This is reality. Everything is changing faster than you think. One year ago, I did not know about blockchain. Blockchain is the second generation of the internet. It is going to change everything and it will directly or indirectly impact on our daily life.

Just let me ask you a question.
## Can you imagine your life without your phone?

Mobile becomes remote control of our society. You always have your phone. Even when you sleep, your phone is always within your hand's reach. You can grab your phone and connect to the whole world.

Now we get to know many people who live other part of the world. Without internet and communication, it would not be possible. The thing is, our online life starts to become real life and our life real life becomes secondary life. What do you think it will go in the future? It will not go backward. We are moving forward pretty fast.

You can do a lot of things on the internet that you could not do it before. Let me make it clear. Internet does not change you who you are as a person, it just exposes you how awesome you are. Now you can express your idea, thoughts and feelings, everybody can hear that.

We are living in a great era. I get a feeling that our grand kids would tell us that you got a great time and you did nothing. We might regret later if we take it for granted what we have right now.

This is the moment to take action and move on instead of compaining. No one cares about your complain. Start doing your thing. Do what you love to do and live your life on your own terms.
