Tonight, in their third playoff round, the Rustin Golden Knights square off against the Penn Wood Patriots. This is the first round of the PIAA class 5A state championship tournament, and it is a home game for Rustin. Band members and volunteers report at 5pm, but I'm not sure what time the game starts. Probably 5:30 or 6:00. It's expected to be crowded, so don't take a chance. Arrive early.

I have volunteered to work in the concession stand tonight, so unfortunately, I won't be able to send out game updates when the scoring happens. I'll post the final score through esteem, as soon as I'm able.

Weather.com says to expect clear weather with temperatures and chill factors in the 30s and 40s.
Next week, the winner of tonight's game moves on to the PIAA class 5A quarter finals. That game will be against the winner of this week-end's game between Unionville (State rank 111) and Upper Dublin (State rank 66).
