Having children has been the most precious gift that God has given us as a woman, we are blessed!


In this sense I want to take as an example a passage from the Bible that has always caught my attention because of the great courage and courage of a Canaanite woman who approached Jesus to seek the healing of her daughter.

Really, this woman's challenge is incredible since the mother's love surpasses all obstacles and in a risky way she approaches Jesus even knowing that there were privileges for the children of Israel and she was not a native of that nation

The Bible tells us thus:
>>(Mr. 7.24-30)
21 When Jesus left there, he went to the region of Tire and Sidon.
22 And behold, a Canaanite woman who had come out of that region was crying out, saying: Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is seriously tormented by a demon.
23 But Jesus did not answer him a word. Then his disciples came to him and begged him, saying: Dismiss her, for she cries after us.
24 He answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then she came and fell down before him, saying: Lord, help me!
26 And he answered and said, It is not well to take the children's bread, and cast it to the dogs.
27 And she said: Yes, Lord; but even the little dogs eat from the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters.
28 And Jesus answering said, O woman, great is your faith; be done with you as you want. And her daughter was healed since then.

A mother really does not mind humiliating herself as long as her children are well and doing it before God was an act of faith before the father of glory.

Many classify this fact as an act of faith and even the Lord Jesus Christ himself told her: oh woman, great is your faith, do with yourself as you want. However, although this is obviously an act of faith, I have always classified it as one of the most sublime and loving acts of a mother towards her daughter.


An act of bravery and bravery performed this woman as a mother and although she recognized the privilege and priority of Israel, she still appeals to Jesus' unconditional request to heal his demon-possessed daughter.

A mother never looks at limitations when it comes to her children, defends them and seeks their good as a warrior because she loves them beyond her life.

History and the reality of life argue that there is no love like that of a mother and even God exemplifies on many occasions his love as that of a mother since the love of mom is unconditional, is not selfish or seeks his own good before ensures the well-being of their children

This example of the Canaanite woman teaches us that a mother is ready for everything and does whatever is necessary in order to seek the well-being of her children, she does not care to be ashamed or to be humiliated or offended.

In this case we were able to read the description of Jesus to the woman when he compares her to "the little dogs" and she ignored those words, only answered her like a lioness And she said: "Yes, Lord; but even the little dogs eat from the crumbs that fall from their masters' table. "
The impetus of this woman's faith and love surprised Jesus and granted him the healing of his daughter.

This is how we mothers act, we have that gift given by God because we are full of courage to fight and take care of our children
