Grace (name changed for privacy) is a 23-year-old Brooklyn-based photographer, then aged 22. She's in a gown, as she walked up to Aziz Ansari — who was taking pictures at the 2017 Emmy Awards after-party — and said, ‘What’d you just shoot with?’. They brought the same kind of camera to the event and talked about it, then flirting ensued on mutual basis.

According to Grace, they would catch eyes every now and then, throughout the party. When they ran into each other one last time, she, at his suggestion, saved her number in his phone. They flirted on phone over a week or so before he asked her to go out with him on September 25. In seconds, his hand was on her breast and undressed her, then undressed himself. He briefly performed oral sex on her and asked her to do the same to him, which she complied with. 

In response to the accusation of Aziz by Grace for sexual violation, Matt Voss says, *"It's really simple. People are responsible for their actions regardless of how they feel. If she consented and willingly chose to suck his dick - that's it. There is zero basis to cry foul afterwards."*

Bollywood director convicted of raping U.S. doctoral student, reported in 2016, by [Washington Post](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/08/01/conviction-of-bollywood-director-for-rape-of-u-s-student-a-small-victory-in-indias-battle-against-sexual-assault/?utm_term=.602ed148a9e5). But in 2017, while setting aside a lower court verdict, Delhi High Court Justice Ashutosh Kumar, in his judgment, said there were doubts whether such an incident took place in the manner alleged by the woman concerned. Saying so, the judge ruled in favour of Farooqui.

The young woman was introduced to Farooqui by a mutual friend in 2014. In 2015, she arrived at his New Delhi home, thinking she was going to accompany him to a wedding along with his wife, Anusha Rizvi. But Farooqui — drunk and *“lachrymose”* as the judge put it — was alone. He attempted to kiss her and begged her for oral sex, finally forcing himself upon her, the victim testified. Scared, she feigned orgasm to end the encounter, she testified.

In regard to the US case, Matt Voss thinks that it wasn't rape. Then in regard to the Indian case, Justice Ashutosh Kumar thinks that a feeble 'no' may mean a 'yes'.
