At first glance we think maybe this is not a problem, but the fact is the more optional / option we have (freedom) it is increasingly difficult for us to make decisions. A simple example if you go to a university with 8 majors, it may not be too difficult for you to make a decision, but imagine if your chosen university has 100 majors (you might even get confused). Or as in your career, the more optional we have the more difficult it is for us to make the right choice. 

Now imagine how free we are in the internet world (infinity), when we have unlimited freedom it is impossible to make the best decisions (you will never know), and our fear of wrong decisions can actually make us ultimately not choose any. We tend to like easy choices (like in studies / careers), which means we're very easy to manipulate.

Of course you understand how systems, companies, schools, governments, and media easily manipulate people with the choices they offer. Similarly with the internet, how we continue to look back at our laptop screen / smartphone, open social media and updates every hour of his. You must take choice or the world will make them for you. Respect your life and the freedom you have for choosing what is really important in your life. Having access to anything can be both a gift and a curse because I think it can be disturbing.
