Steem's price and marketcap rank correction is still going on. It has reached 41 in CCN and at 38 cents achieved marketcap of $120 M. And, volume is quite good at $13M.

In this swift correction, Steem may rise up to 30 rank in CMC and reach $180M marketcap. However, Steem will be still undervalued. A rank between 15-20 should be Steem's correct position. Steem lacks contious volume such as EOS, NEO or TRON, having more successful DApps and larger number of users. It is still not traded in Bitfinex, OKex or many other exchanges. It has very few fiat pairs.

Once MIRA updates are released, maintaining an exchange node will be dramatically cheaper. With renewed enthusiasm from the community and push from the community leaders, Steem and its fiat pairs will be added to large number of exchanges. The volume will pick up and speculators will return in the lure of SMTs.

If STINC can release SMT within this year and BTC returns to bull phase such as $6-8K, Steem can reach as high as $2 to $3.

Fortunately, Steem has captured a big fraction of crypto enthusiasts that other top 40 coins can dream of. However, they have big marketing team and glossy websites or roadmaps, moreover, less misinformation. If STINC and @ned can deliver what energy, they showed us in last week then Steem will have a very good in case of ranking and price appreciation.

However, they fails to deliver or delivers slowly, then community will come forward. In that case, the speed will be just slower and less testy.
