Once upon a time, people believed that the truth was just a veil, that all that we see in reality was a symbol and allegory for more real and deeper meanings. Therefore, the task of Man was to understand this complex symbolism to reveal the true meaning of life.
We modern people are far more prosaic: thanks to the technological equipment we use and often abusing, we live in what is called "increased reality". At any moment we can recognize endless interconnections that go through a single object or in a single place in which we find ourselves and therefore believe that there is nothing else we can discover that truth is exactly what it is under our eyes.
However, there are things that we are not yet able to fully explain: think, for example, about butterflies. Butterflies are the insects that we admire for the sleek beauty of their living wings, but which often fill us with amazement in many features that present their existence.
The butterflies are wonderful, but live very little: they arise in the morning and die in the evening. They do not arise just like they are, but like worms ... Then they lock in a bladder, which is called crisperism. From there they are deeply renewed.
How can we not see deep symbology in all this?
Even the lives of people are short and fragile: we too arise in the morning of our youth and go to the sunset in the age of old age. We often experience one or more metamorphoses in our lives. For some periods, we retreat to ourselves, a revival changed, renewed, brighter than before.
No wonder then that the ancients and populations who believe that animals are the driving breaths of each of us have given butterflies the role of the messenger of other worlds. Given their ease, the butterflies or angels are able to fly between the different levels of existence by making contact with those we can not see.
What does it mean, then, if you understand that you often see butterflies around you? Sometimes it happens that these wonderful insects stick over the balcony flowers, come from the windows, or vibrate on the sides of the asphalted and smelly streets, approaching their presence.
Of course the butterflies want to tell you something. Perhaps they suggest it's time to change, or that change is happening and you should not be afraid. Or maybe they only bring a close proximity message to someone who is no longer, but never abandoned you.
With your rational mind and science you can call it a mere fun, or you can pay more attention to these silent messengers who go through your life, fast and transitory, but able to support the balance of the universe in their fragile wings.
