Diciamo che in questi ultimi giorni il Tempo non è stato piacevole, anzi, la mia città è praticamente affogata grazie alle forti piogge!
Però malgrado questo si sente che ormai l’estate è alle porte, c’è un tripudio di fiori colorati ovunque, profumi inebrianti e uccellini contenti che cinguettano!
Io però ho il mio particolare segnale che mi avvisa che finalmente ci siamo, che davvero tutta la natura si è risvegliata, ossia:
la lenta passeggiata delle Tartarughe di terra nel giardino del vicino!
E’ incredibile la loro puntualità, ma all' inizio dell’estate le rivedi, arrivano da chissà dove e camminano pigramente, concedendosi pause ristoratrici per poi ricominciare il loro pigro movimento per tutto il giorno….e questo oltre a confermarmi che l’estate è arrivata, mi riempie di gioia!
Sono tantissimi anni che loro inesorabilmente si risvegliano per godersi l’estate e se ne vanno in letargo per superare l’inverno, malgrado i mille cambiamenti del mondo esterno loro resistono con il loro lento e costante ciclo vitale!
Tutto questo mi fa pensare a quanto la Natura sia perfetta e in equilibrio con la Vita, malgrado i nostri continui attacchi, lei va avanti inesorabile… come le Tartarughe del mio vicino!
Ovviamente anche loro sono a rischio estinzione, è vietato prelevarle in natura, ma anche abbandonarle!
Il nome corretto della Tartaruga comune, autoctona del territorio italiano, è Tartaruga di Hermanni, vive tra i 30 e 40 anni ed è molto socievole con gli esseri umani.

But despite this, you feel that summer is upon us now, there is a riot of colorful flowers everywhere, intoxicating scents and happy birds chirping!
But I have my own particular signal that warns me that we are finally here, that truly all of nature has awakened, that is:
the slow walk of the land turtles in the neighbor's garden!
Their punctuality is incredible, but at the beginning of the summer you see them again, they come from who knows where and they walk lazily, taking refreshing breaks and then restarting their lazy movement all day ... and this in addition to confirming that the summer has arrived, it fills me with joy!
For many years they have inexorably awakened to enjoy the summer and go into hibernation to survive the winter, despite the thousand changes in the outside world they resist with their slow and constant life cycle!
All this makes me think about how perfect Nature is and in balance with Life, despite our constant attacks, she goes on inexorably ... like my neighbor's Turtles!
Obviously they too are at risk of extinction, it is forbidden to take them in nature, but also to abandon them!
The correct name of the Common Tortoise, native to the Italian territory, is Hermanni's Tortoise, lives between 30 and 40 years and is very sociable with humans.
