I'm sure throughout the years that many of us men and women have had the unfortunate event of being cheated on happen to them.  It's happened to me, and i'll even share my experience.  When i was 22 i had been dating my first love for almost 5 years, we had our rocky moments...and she hadn't been the best girl to me, but i always stuck by her thoughout everything. So one night, i call her up at about 12am..and the phone rings but picks up really fast..."Hello" i said.. "hello", and i couldn't hear anything..next thing i know, i could hear a bed squeeking and my girlfriend moaning....

I figured out later that somehow right at the exact moment i called, her and her "boyfriend" had knocked the phone off the hook while they were having sex.. Can you believe that shit? talk about divine intervention. At the time this was 2005, there were no smartphones yet, but i had called her from my  verizon flip cellphone....So i got dressed, and left the house still listening to her squealing and moaning..smh..

I walked all the way to her house (20 mins), and the whole fucking time they were having sex and i had to listen to it....i'll cut this short in saying ..that night winded up being ALOT of drama..and her boyfriend jumped out of a 2nd story window..

<em><strong>Okay now you guys know one of my most humiliating moments....and this will be forever locked in the blockchain.</strong> </em>

<h2>❔ Why do people cheat?</h2> I think people cheat for a lot of different reasons..but in my opinion i think the main reason people cheat is because they feel under appreciated in their relationship. When one person feels slighted in the relationship for an extended period of time, they might start looking elsewhere to find that appreciation. There are also those commitment phobes and sex addicts too..these kinds of people almost always cheat in every relationship they are in. I know plenty of commitment phobes and men and women who are addicted to sex, and they've never been in a relationship and not cheated on the other person.

<h2>🔸Women are Emotional</h2> When a woman gets cheated on, she can become very emotional and irrational about the situation. She might start thinking of a million reasons why this guy cheated on her, she might immediately begin to  blame herself or her looks, or something. Woman are driven by their emotions...so getting cheated on for a woman i could imagine must be a very very excruciating experience to go through. 



<h2> 🔹Men are Logical</h2>Men are logical creatures of nature..we tend to see things as they are, and try to make sense out of the situation logically. We will ask the question "why" to try and figure out what was the issue and why did it happen.

<h2> ❗️ So who hurts more?</h2> The answer is....neither hurts more than the other. I don't think it matters if you are a man or a woman...when you get cheated on..it hurts. The degree of hurt is what varies between person to person...some people can only be hurt for a day, some it might take 2 years to get over it. For me, it took me almost 4 years to get over what happened to me...My hurt manifested itself in the form of mistrust, and anger. It was hard for me to date anyone after that happened to me, and i became a cheater myself. It took me a long time to realize the amount of damage that was done to my psyche from being cheated on...It really messed me up in relationships for a long time.

<h5>They say men are from mars and women are from venus, but i don't think we are all that different essentially. Men and women both have the capacity to feel extremely hurt, neither of us are wired to block pain from happening. Please lets discuss this topic, i would like to know what some of you guys think, have you ever been cheated on before or know someone who has?</h5>
