I stand on the earth's 
undercarriage, its core
considers a flame

The birthed heat
gives poor children profits
and life on endless planes

Do I see what my mind can handle
Or do I stitch color 
into the slats
from every angle?

I will hold my palm perception
and turn it until light
consumes each curve

I will ponder the prairie 
in my chest 
and graze until the sun curls

Hello, readers. I've started a journey that is exponentially boosting my inspiration. It started when I found a Waldorf school video explaining how to make a dodecahedron from a pentagon. This concept of taking a shape that had 5 sets of 72 degree angles and making a representation of something much more complex, was the seed of a concept seen in Rudolf Steiner's philosophy on thinking. 

I have watched lectures on Steiner's teachings, and the sum of it (what follows is a gross underestimation) is there is a way to grasp spiritual aspects of life through thinking. The idea goes that all experiences are perceived from the world and eventually thought about by the mind. Steiner believes if humans can experience the world that is seen - translated into electricity and energy - then we can think and approach things that are unseen - pure energy - in the same way. 

I still have to read several of his books, but I am beginning to practice the basics in my everyday life. To actually focus my thoughts on the moment. It is one thing to meditate in the privacy of your abode, and a totally different thing to have a meditative state in all places no matter what.

I want this way of thinking to transform my poetry, visual art, and my inner life so that I can be reborn and be refreshed even after the most stressful work situations.
