Cell phones and other devices have become a necessity for some people in our society. These are means of communication that allow two or more people to interact, discuss and respond to each other. But the real prayer is the link that allows us to approach the divine, the spiritual, is our most vital tool so that the father of heaven can hear us.</p> <p><br></p> <blockquote><em>Luke 18: 1 Jesus also told them a parable about the need to pray always, and not faint.</em></blockquote> <p><br></p> <p>Jesus left an example for us on what to pray. He prayed for his disciples and for every generation that would come to follow him. His prayer was for God to protect and strengthen them while they were in this world. God is the one who takes the initiative in prayer, placing in us the desire to seek him, to speak to him, to share with him our life. To designate the place from which prayer springs, the Sacred Scriptures sometimes speak of the soul or the spirit, and more often of the heart, the heart is the one who prays. </em></p> <p><br></p> <p><em>The heart is our center of all communion with the sacred, only the spirit of God can penetrate it and know it, it is the place of the decisions of the soul, the place of truth, where we choose between life and death.
