Been on this wild magic carpet ride for almost four months now.  Talking four months of absolute addiction to #steemit.  Been reading posts and commenting on posts like a crazy man.  I'm not as chatty as @karenmckersie💜 or @karenb54💜, but I guess I like to talk.  

Over 3000 posts seems like a whole lot, but it is nowhere near @mindhunter with over 10,000 posts.  That is some serious posting there, I tell you what.   I doubt anyone will ever pass this monster of a profile.

Funny thing is, I've been working 10 times as hard because my minnow wallet is super small in comparison to the the two profiles I just passed up, @craig-grant and @lukestokes.  I posted for over a month without anything to show for it.  Working in the dark, with only the hope of having just $.01 and the end of the day.   

It's a good thing that I have the spirit of a wolverine, because a lot of the profiles I remember in the beginning are no longer active or went really negative.  I understand the frustration, but my determination to succeed was stronger than the negative force within me.  I remember telling myself "just give up" several times, but I refused to give up. 

So as much as I like to read posts and leave comments, it's inevitable that I climb to the top 25 of posts count.  Soon, I will be near @everittdmickey and @meesterboom, who both have very strong steemit profiles.   

My advise to new accounts or the lowly minnows, is that you jump in with a positive attitude and read and comment on as many posts as possible.  Be sure to be sincere and be original.   You never know who might be reading, like @smooth or @kushed, who have both upvoted my comments.
