Anyone that promises you that life will be free, fair and without challenges is not being honest with you and they are not helping you to develop yourself and to brace up for impact. The truth is, without a recourse to whatever you think, challenges are inevitable but your responses to them will distinguish you from others.

When you are sailing through high sea, no matter how you pray and no matter how you wish, the wind must beat against your boat. However, instead of wishing for the wind to stop, you can only prepare your mind to direct your sail to flow with the wind.

You do not expect life to be fair to you, you just need to build yourself to survive through life's challenges. Conquerors are not made on the dining table, they are made on the battle field. If you refuse to brace yourself for the battle, how do you expect to emerge as a conqueror?

When life throws heavy winds at you, just construct a windmill and generate electricity from it. When life gives you a sour grape, squeeze it, ferment it and make wine from it. Whatever life throws at you, there must be something good you can turn it into, just look beyond the challenges.

Conquerors do not look at the challenges but at the prize in it for them, because they know they will be made by the challenges. Always try to focus on the positive side of everything that comes your way. Only kids wish for challenges not to come, but legends ride through the challenges to greater height.

Remember, the same wind that will carry other birds is what the eagle will soar in to ride higher and higher. Challenges will either make or break you depending on what you are built of.

If you see yourself always breaking at the face of challenges, do not blame the challenges but just know that you need to work more on yourself. Remember this, challenges are real and you do not have choice about it. The only choice you have is to brace up for them.
