Speed is not and will not be equal to direction. That someone is moving with speed does not equal to accuracy and does not also mean they are going somewhere. This is the reason; in the journey of life, direction and knowledge of where you are going to and your destination matter a lot and not just speed.

Let me use this scenario to explain this to you: In an Olympic 100 meters race, speed matters right? Okay I know you will answer in the affirmative. But if someone emerges as the fastest and the first to brace the rope but in someone else's lane, will they be awarded any prize? Definitely not - they will be disqualified for not moving in their own lane.

This same scenario applies to other aspects of our lives. For everything you want to do, there is always a procedure and a how-to. Once you deviate from the how-to, no matter the speed at which you accomplish the task, it may not count because you contravened the rules.

This is the reason the race of life does not only need speed but a combination of speed and accuracy. Knowing where you are going to and knowing your direction is the first step to arriving at your destination. Believe me, if you have knowledge of where you are going to, you may not even need to apply much effort and speed to get to the place.

In a scenario where you do not have your destination in mind, you will not know which route to take to arrive at it, and this might prolong the journey even if you are moving with speed.

Trust me, the world is not looking for fast people that are going nowhere, but people of direction and speed - which is the prerequisite to arriving at your destination.
