In my childhood, I was obsessed with UFO incidents took place in various places on Earth. Sometimes, I get scared at night thinking would come to our place. Most alien incidents were reported in '50s and '60s. I like to see that old vibe in movies.

Recently I found a movie which has both Alien and '50s touch. It is "The Vast Of Night." It was first screened in 2019. Then it was added to Amazon Prime. 

Fay is a Switch Board Operator... it's like Customer care caller type of thing in these days. And her Friend, Everett has a Radio Channel. One day at night, Fay caught a strange signal through the Switchboard. After she telling this to Everette, he aired this signal through his Radio Channels and then they started getting Phone Calls from people telling Strange things.

In the interim, Fay also receives some strange calls from Local people telling about some kinda Object in the sky. So this movie is basically about the adventure of Fay and Everett in order to find the truth.. So will they be able to solve the problem?? It's up to you to find it.

So this movie is telling about this one strange night in a small town in New Mexico. In spite of this movie being a micro budget movie, I think producers have done a great job in it. There are some camera shots like 7-8 minutes long. Also there's a camera shot going through the town. That's so cool.

Since this is a budget movie, don't expect Alien Invasion type of a thing. It's mostly like UFO incidents we've heard. You know, seeing strange light in the sky, burnt trees and grounds etc. Actors have done their job really well. It's not easy to act 8-10 minutes straight. Because of these long shots, I kinda feel like I'm in moment of this movie.

However, due to the darkness, sometimes the pictures can be unclear... but it wasn't a big issue for me because I'm a big fan of this kinda movies. They haven't tried to do unusual things. They kept the story so simple. That's why filmmakers were able to make this good movie.. in a micro budget like 700, 000$.

As you can see, the ratings are great. Considering how the story goes, I don't think there is another better way doing this movie than it is. But I should say, this is not a movie for everyone. You can't expect any Action or fights here. Just a classic mystery movie. If you like that kinda stuff.. this may be a good choice..
