Fresh List of Spam/Plagiarism cases-- Date- 02/05/2021

Here is an update on the fresh cases of spam/plagiarism.

In Steemit Crypto Academy, since some of the Tasks are purely a practical exploration, a few users are trying to edit/falsify/photoshop the screenshot to portray it as their own work, a few are even editing the Block number(even wallet address) and timestamp. But Blockchain being an immutable ledger, any third party can conduct an audit; it is very easy to detect any such weird thing.

There are also a few users who are simply spamming this blockchain by publishing the same photo and/or content multiple times in several communities.

**Plagiarism is an act of stealing the content of others and representing it as their own content and/or passing off content without acknowledgment of the real authorship.**

This insidious form of plagiarism should be appropriately responded by the community to tidy up the Steemit Crypto Academy. The pending rewards should be returned back to the reward pool.

We will keep fighting this good fight. The coordinated community effort will defeat such malicious/bad actors.

Thanks for these @sapwood. 

Number 5 has included the source at the end of their article which is acceptable.  I've left a message with number 6 who will now be monitored.

I think that number 2 is harsh and do not feel that this warrants a warning - exclusion from this crypto academy task is sufficient in this case.

I'll monitor 3 and 4 before casting judgement.  Number 3's reasoning is plausible whereas number 4 is more suspicious purely on the basis of the repetitive argument - I find that this nature of argument tends to be a sign of wrong doing.
