Today, in my diary, I don't talk about my real life about the things I've seen or done, but I want to take a leap into my social life to tell you what's going on.
So today I'm talking about Steemit and what, these days, is happening to the Italian community to which I belong.
After all, we spend a lot of time on Steemit also to make this platform grow with our presence and our daily contributions so it is also right to take stock of the situation and clarify some things.
But to get to yesterday's events we need to summarize the previous episodes.
Our Italian community that is gathering around @italygame was formed very recently and on the occasion of the second season of the Diary Game.
Not that there are no Italians on Steemit, there are and always have been, but lately with the recent and well-known events, many of them have moved elsewhere or have become discouraged and have moved away from Steemit and are exploring new socials that are arising in these times.
But I can assure you that they were once numerous and very active.
Some of us Italians participated in the first edition of the Diary but, with the exception of the talented @mikitaly, in a sporadic and uncoordinated way.
Others continue to leave their traces on some tags. We know there are still ...
With the advent of the second season of the Diary which also provided for the establishment of national teams, for us Italians a story began on the one hand beautiful and good satisfactions but on the other hand, it brought to light a hallucinatory and almost comic.

In fact, one day this post entitled [preparing-for-team-of-italy](https://steemit.com/the1000daysofsteem/@vipnata/1000-days-of-steem-day-10-the-diary-game-season-2-preparing-for-team-of-italy) announcing the formation of an Italian team for participation in the Game Diary - 2 season.
And here begins the comic aspect.
The announcement is written in Russian.
Obviously this post caught my attention! In fact, I did not realize that Italy had become one of the many regions of the Russian confederation!!
The other thing that struck me is that, in this team, my name was mentioned along with that of other Italians.
With great amazement I also saw that it was widely voted by @Steemcurator01 who, evidently and in good faith, could not have known that it was just a case of "boasted credit", as they say in Italian.
In short, a fantasy, something without any basis and substance and made only to attract attention and votes (which in fact arrived on time) but which had no follow-up.
This lady, who I later discovered is also the representative of Italy, should, at the very least, return the money to Steemcurator01 as they were taken by deception and on the proposal of nothing.
In fact, after my immediate reply where I declared that I would certainly not take part in this initiative and after other discussions with this lady, an Italian team was formed, @italygame, without this lady.
We presented the @Italygame team, we completed the team, created the account as suggested by Steemitblog and in these days of the beginning of the diary we have done many other things that we will tell in a detailed post that we will write very soon.
But if you want to see what we are doing, I invite you to visit our account @italygame and our community ITALY which, since we started working, is becoming a point of reference and, in just over a week has already made almost 90 subscriptions.
All this without the designated representative of Italy but only with our work, our skills and our knowledge.
We went ahead and with great satisfaction we are participating in the Gioco del Diario with beautiful posts, we are convincing many Italians to resume writing on Steemit, and we have also organized a competition, I Love Italy, adhering to the suggestion of Steemitblog.
And, in the meantime, what does the designated Italian representative do?
She continues to write far and wide in Russian but above all she begins to become nervous and intolerant towards the Italians who are giving their contribution on this platform and who, evidently, are beginning to overshadow her, and begins to insult them.
I begin with the freshest and most serious insult is this one aimed at @girolamomarotta but that deeply offends all of us Italians and that you can all judge.

This [comment]( https://steemit.com/countryspecificrewards/@vipnata/qesxk4) is something that would require immediate and censorious intervention by Steemiblog, and that we Italians are waiting for.

Talking about people or a community based on prejudices, clichés and insulting them for the mere fact of living in a specific area is very serious, shameful and cannot be ignored.
But knowing that these words are from a foreign lady who has also proposed to represent Italy is truly mortifying and even more serious.
I also have more to say, because this episode of intolerance towards us was unfortunately not the only one but, for today, I will say no more.
I wait for Steemitblog to make itself heard authoritatively and take action.
Personally I have already silenced this person and flagged his post under one of my posts which, given what happened, I considered only a provocation.

**THE DIARY GAME: 11.08.2020 Comunità Italiana: Insulti e pregiudizi.**
Oggi, nel mio diario, non parlo della mia vita reale delle cose che ho visto o che ho fatto, ma voglio fare un salto nella mia vita social per raccontarvi che cosa succede.
Quindi oggi parlo di Steemit e di quello che, in questi giorni, sta succedendo alla comunità italiana di cui faccio parte.
In fondo noi trascorriamo tanto tempo su Steemit anche per far crescere questa la piattaforma con la nostra presenza ed i nostri contributi quotidiani quindi è anche giusto fare il punto della situazione e chiarire alcune cose.
Ma per arrivare ai fatti di ieri bisogna fare il riassunto delle puntate precedenti.
La nostra comunità italiana che si sta riunendo attorno a @italygame si è formata molto recentemente e in occasione della seconda stagione del gioco del Diario.
Non che non ci siano Italiani su Steemit, ce ne sono e ce ne sono sempre stati , ma ultimamente con le recenti e note vicende molti di loro si sono trasferiti altrove o si sono scoraggiati e si sono allontanati da Steemit e stanno espolrando nuovi socials che stanno sorgendo in questi tempi.
Ma vi posso assicurare che un tempo erano numerosi e attivissimi.
Alcuni di noi Italiani hanno partecipato alla prima edizione del Diario ma, con esclusione della bravissima @Mikitaly, in modo sporadico e non coordinato.
Alti continuano a lasciare le loro tracce su alcuni tag. Sappiamo che ci sono ancora…
Con l’avvento della seconda stagione del Diario che ha previsto anche la costituzione anche di squadre a carattere nazionale, per noi italiani è iniziata una storia da un lato bella e buone soddisfazioni ma dall’altro lato ha portato alla luce una vicenda allucinate e quasi comica.

Un giorno infatti giorno compare questo post dal titolo [preparing-for-team-of-italy](https://steemit.com/the1000daysofsteem/@vipnata/1000-days-of-steem-day-10-the-diary-game-season-2-preparing-for-team-of-italy) che annuncia la formazione di una squadra Italiana per la partecipazione al Diario Game - 2 stagione
E qui inizia l’aspetto comico.
L’annuncio è scritto in Russo.
Ovvio che questo post ha attirato la mia attenzione!
Non mi ero accorta infatti che l’Italia fosse diventata una delle tante regioni della confederazione russa.
L’altro cosa che mi ha colpito è che, in questa squadra, stato fatto il mio nome assieme a quello di altri italiani.
Con grandissimo stupore ho visto anche che è stato largamente votato da @Steemcurator01 che, evidentemente e in buona fede, non poteva sapere che si trattava solo di un caso di “millantato credito”, come si dice in italiano.
Insomma una fantasia, una cosa senza nessuna base e sostanza e fatta soltanto per attirare attenzione e voti (che infatti sono puntualmente arrivati) ma che non ha avuto nessun seguito.
Questa signora, che poi ho scoperto essere anche la rappresentante dell’Italia, dovrebbe, quantomeno, restituire i soldi a @Steemcurator01 in quanto presi con l’inganno e sulla proposta di nulla.
Infatti dopo una mia immediata risposta dove dichiaravo che non avrei certamente preso parte a questa iniziativa e dopo altre interlocuzioni avute con questa signora, una squadra italiana si è formata, @italygame, senza questa signora.
Abbiamo presentato la squadra di @Italygame abbiamo completato la squadra, fatto l’account come suggerito da @Steemitblog e in questi giorni di inizio del diario abbiamo fatto tante altre cose che racconteremo in un post dettagliato che scriveremo prestissimo.
Ma se volete vedere che cosa stiamo facendo vi invito a visitate il nostro account @italygame e la nostra comunity ITALY che , da quando abbiamo iniziato a lavorare, sta diventando un punto di riferimento e, in poco più di una settimana ha già fatto quasi 90 sottoscrizioni.
Tutto questo senza la designata rappresentante dell’ Italia ma solo con il nostro lavoro , le nostre competenze e nostre conoscenze.
Siamo andati avanti e con grande soddisfazione stiamo partecipando al Gioco del Diario con bellissimi post, stiamo convincendo tanti Italiani a riprendere a scrivere su Steemit, e abbiamo anche organizzato un concorso, I Love Italy, aderendo al suggerimento di Steemitblog.
E, nel frattempo che cosa fa la designata rappresentate italiana?
Continua a scrivere in russo in lungo e largo ma soprattutto inizia a diventare nervosa e insofferente nei confronti degli Italiani che stanno dando il loro contributo su questa piattaforma e che , evidentemente, iniziano a farle ombra, e inizia a insultarli.

Questo commento è una cosa che richiederebbe un intervento immediato e censorio da parte di Steemiblog, e che, noi Italiani stiamo aspettando.

Parlare delle persone o di una comunità basandosi su pregiudizi, luoghi comuni e insultarli per il solo fatto di vivere in una determinata zona è gravissimo, vergognoso e non può essere ignorato .
Ma sapere che queste parole sono di una signora straniera che è si è anche proposta per rappresentare l’Italia è davvero mortificante e ancora più grave.
Avrei anche altro da dire, perché questo episodio di intolleranza nei nostri confronti purtroppo non è stato l’unico ma, per oggi, non dico altro.
Aspetto che @Steemitblog si faccia sentire autorevolmente e prenda provvedimenti.
Personalmente ho già silenziato questa persona e flaggato un suo intervento sotto un mio post che, visto quanto successo, ho considerato solo una provocazione.
