Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent Display of Power

I was at a museum here in Germany and this one drawing caught my attention. It is a drawing of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent when he was in charge of a very powerful Ottoman Empire. During this time period Europe was fearful of an invasion by the Ottomans. The really interesting part of the drawing is the elaborate crown on his head that has four levels. This was directed at the pope and Hapsburgs. The pope has a tiara which has three levels and the Holy Roman Emperor had a crown of one level. In the drawing he displays the power of both with 4 levels on his crown.
