#### Vielen Dank, 
bisher bin ich immer auf meinen Toaster, der noch dem WMM hat ausgewichen um zu schneiden. Die Daten vom Rechner zu dem Toaster und zurück  zu bekommen war für mich immer sehr umständlich und Zeit fressend. Ich war schon stunden damit beschäftigt nach einer Lösung zu suchen, fand jedoch nie eine passende Lösung für mich. Bin wohl zu doof für Google^^

Freue mich gerade wie ein kleines Kind xD

Ist es aus Sicherheitsaspekten theoretisch sinnvoll, dass man ein Programm auf dem Rechner nutzt, dass seit Jahren nicht mehr gepatcht wurde? Praktisch stellt wahrscheinlich der WMM keine Gefahr dar. Ich persönlich würde mich in Shotcut einarbeiten. Nachteil: weniger übersichtlicher, Vorteil: aktuell, Funktionsumfang und ebenfalls kostenlos.

Ich hatte mal ein Hohschulprojekt (Stopmotion Film) mit dem Moviemaker (xp) gemacht. Klappte super und war einfacher als After Effects (fand ich "damals"). Glaube der ab Windows 7 war dann irgendwie anders ... aber mal schauen. Ne Version in einer vm hat ja noch nie geschadet.

Ich verwende aus dem Paket den Live Writer nach wie vor sehr intensiv - meist mehrfach täglich. Daher das Paket bei mir lokal archiviert.

Interessant, dass es über Archive.org verfügbar ist. Ist nicht üblich bei großen Dateianhängen.

Windows ist schon lange nicht mehr benutzbar ohne tonnenweise extra Software, die man sich erst installieren muss. Natürlich muss man sich diese immer noch via Browser vom Internet normalerweise runterladen, auch wenns normalerweise direkt vom Entwickler, ist diese Methode noch am anfälligsten wie man sich Malware einfängt und der Microsoft Store ist praktisch wertlos für _echte_ Software...

Dieser Kommentar hat zwar jetzt nichts mit diesem Thema zu tun, aber ich habe eine kleine andere youtube bzw d.tube alternative gefunden und wollte es Sie einfach mal wissen lassen.

Aufmerksam darauf bin ich durch [dieses video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKCCkrZzM98) geworden. Die Blender Organisation (welche Kurzfilme und eine eigene OpenSource Rendersoftware entwickelt) wurde von Youtube gesperrt und hat sich kurz darauf eine eigene kleine Videoplatform mit [PeerTube](https://joinpeertube.org/en/) gebastelt.

Testen kann man das ganze auf dem zuerst genannten [PeerTube-Beispiel von Blender](video.blender.org) oder auf [FramaTube.org](framatube.org)

Ich muss sagen, mir gefällt das Konzept von PeerTube einfach viel besser als D.Tube (was ja ziemlich laggy ist ;D) oder generell YouTube (Jagut mitlerweile gibt es bestimmt haufenweise bessere alternativen zu YouTube), da man so einfach zu geschätzten 95% mehr Kontrolle über seine eigenen Videos hat. 
(-5% Weil man ja immer noch Videos herunterladen und vervielfältigen kann :D )

Bei IPFS weiß man nie wo gerade die eigenen Videos herumschwirren und bei YouTube können sie gesperrt werden, also warum nicht selber Hosten? ;D
