Como moderador los invito a realizar un Post de su banda favorita y para marcar la pauta o dar ejemplo les confieso cual es mi banda favorita. Definitivamente soy amante y ejecutante en guitarra de muchos de los géneros Rock por su diversidad, la emoción y sentimiento que cada uno puede causar sobre tu estado de ánimo y el infinito aprendizaje cuando estudias la composición y estructura de cada uno de ellos.
Pero este post en especial va sobre cuál es tu banda favorita y la mía en particular.. IRON MAIDEN
Banda británica donde sus seis integrantes representan la escencia del más puro Heavy Metal quienes se dan el lujo de tener su propio avión 747 bautizado como ED FORCE ONE piloteado por su vocalista Bruce Dickinson y haré una reseña de mi experiencia en particular ya hace algunos años.
Para 1992 IRON MAIDEN lanza su álbum "FEAR OF THE DARK"
y apenas yo contaba con 20 años de edad y siendo una época muy dura y triste por la partida física de mi madre. Pero una noche, entre unas de mis oraciones diarias le pedí que me diera algún día la oportunidad de ver personalmente en concierto a Iron Maiden. Meses más tarde leo la prensa y la publicidad que escucho en la radio que se presentarían el 09 y 10 de octubre en el Poliedro de Caracas Venezuela, no me lo podía creer que mi madre y el Universo hubiesen escuchado mis plegarias y me prepáro a reunir el dinero para la entrada del concierto que costaba para el año 1992 1.500 bs. más costear el transporte de una Vans, que junto a varios amigos fans nos llevasen al evento. Para entonces era imposible y prohibido tratar de meter una cámara fotográfica pero no me rendiría en intentarlo. Compré una Kodak desechable y me la escondí, pero llegando a la cola listo para entrar, el seguridad me dice que la deje en un puesto de vigilancia y luego la devolverían al salir del concierto. Fue tanta las súplica en decirle que éste evento significaba más de lo normal para mí, porque era un regalo de mi madre hecho de una manera extraña. Creo que mi cara de desesperación y la mirada como la de Gato en la escena de Shrek hizo al seguridad apiadarse de mí y dejarla pasar.
Increíble concierto no lo podía creer, estuve todo el tiempo en la olla y ver las locuras del público, hasta alguien con un spray de baygon y un encendedor hizo un lanzallamas que el mismo Bruce Dickinson estaba sorprendido y aterrado.
La tarima la empujaba el público con tanta euforia que la empezaron a desajustar, Dickinson advirtió que si seguían así los iban a tumbar con todo y escenario.
La emoción del público era algo de otro mundo, la gente coreando y cantando junto a Maiden los más emblemáticos temas yo sentía que sería mi último día en éste planeta, porque ya era suficiente haber logrado verlos tan cerca.
Días previos al concierto en casa, pinté una pequeña pancarta de tela que decía: "IRON MAIDEN welcome to Venezuela" y a sólo escasos metros de la tarima me atreví a lanzarla, cual es mi emoción el vocalista Bruce Dickinson la toma, se la coloca en el cuello y seguidamente la extiende arropando con ella el frente del bombo de la batería.
Todo era mágico. Ver a tu banda preferida con un carisma y apego con su público. MAIDEN esa noche entregó toda su fuerza musical corriendo de un lado a otro de la tarima mientras Steve Harris el bajista señalaba a muchos haciendo sus típicos disparos con su Bajo.
Fueron aproximadamente 22 temas y la gente pedía y pedía más.
Desde muy jóven haber aprendido inglés leyendo sus cancioneros, tener la habitación tapada de los afiches gigantes de Iron Maiden, lo perfecto de sus ilustraciones siendo su representante o mascota EDDIE , en cada álbum o en un tema específico dibujado de cientos de formas diferentes.
De allí empezaría mi pasión por la guitarra eléctrica con una de cartón que construí y con cuerdas de nylon, toda una réplica más muy lejos de ser funcional, fue lo que diera inicio a mi primera guitarra real,obsequiada por mi madre, siendo la guerrera en muchos eventos y conciertos a los que he participado y actualmente la conservo. Para finalizar es lo mejor del mundo ser fan de tu banda o varias bandas preferidas y la cúspide es lograr en algún momento de tu vida verlos en vivo en un concierto porque no tiene nivel de valoración, te quedarías pequeño a buscar punto de comparación.
Espero sigan escribiendo en éste magnífico post tan especial y publicarlo en nuestra comunidad. Allí les dejo algunas fotos tomadas por mí el mismo día del concierto 09 octubre de 1992 y que aquella simple cámara logró hacer su trabajo. Y un amigo que trabajó de técnico de sonido años después me obsequió el concierto de esa fecha en dos casettes grabación directa de la consola de sonido.

Incredible concert I could not believe it, I was all the time in the pot and watching the madness of the public, even someone with a baygon spray and a lighter made a flamethrower that Bruce Dickinson himself was surprised and terrified.
The stage was pushed by the public with such euphoria that they began to misalign it, Dickinson asked that if they continued like this they would knock them down with everything and the stage.
The emotion of the audience was something from another world, people chanting and singing along with Maiden the most emblematic songs I felt that it would be my last day on this planet, because it was enough to have managed to see them so close.
Days before the concert at home, I painted a small cloth banner that said: "IRON MAIDEN welcome to Venezuela" and just a few meters from the stage I dared to launch it, what is my emotion the vocalist Bruce Dickinson takes it, puts it on on the neck and then he extends it, wrapping it around the front of the drum bass drum.
Everything was magical to see your favorite band with a charisma and attachment to their audience. MAIDEN that night delivered all the musical force of him running from one side of the stage to the other while Steve Harris the bassist pointed out to many doing the typical shots of him with his Bass. There were approximately 22 songs and people asked and asked for more.
