How are you and how is everyone here. Hope all is well in new comer’s community. On my side am doing pretty fine. As I completed my achievement 1task and it was verified,
Today I want to share with you my achievement 2 task that is about basic security on steem.

Basically this is all about my keys on steemit and am going to explain or answer the five questions in a way that I understand them.

QUESTION 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes I have. Since these keys are very crucial and helpful in all the activities you perform on steemit. So I had to retrieve them as you can’t do anything without them.

QUESTION 2
Do you know each of these keys functions and restrictions?

Basically on steemit we do have four keys and these are as follows;
Posting key
Memo key
Active key
Owner key
And for there functions and restrictions are as discussed below;

Posting key
This key is so helpful when you want to login to steemit with the private posting key as to make posts, comments, replies among others. So all in all it helps in everyday logins.

Memo key
As I understand this, this key helps you to transfer your steem and it should be kept safely on an offline platform or where you can access it from.

Active key
This helps in transactionary function of your money or steem dollar and so it’s so important when making transfers, power up among others.

Owner key
This key can also be referred to as the master key. This is the first key your given at your fist sign in to steemit as to have an account. It’s also used when changing the password which is privately yours. So it’s very important to be kept safely as mine I saved it to my gmail account and it’s still there upto now.

QUESTION 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?

First and foremost I have saved my master password on my google account and sent it to my gmail exactly. I had to save it separately as to easily identify it from others  and so when it is lost and you have not yet changed your password then your account is unfortunately lost. So we have to be very careful.

QUESTION 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

Yes I know how to transfer my steem token to another steem user account. So am addressing this process step by step.
Firstly you need to login to steemit wallet by the help of your private active key.
Then click on steem and click on the down ward going arrow and there will show you the word transfer and you click on it.
After you will have to give in your details of the other steem user account name, amount to be transferred , memo and click next to proceed.

QUESTION 5
Do you know how to power up your steem ?

Yes I have learnt the process very well and as I know this means to convert steem to SP
So firstly login using your private active key to your steem wallet.
Click on steem on the arrow then click on power up.

So this is how I have attempted my questions on achievement 2 hope it is so helpful to every one as I haven explained as I understand the steem keys basically. Thanks to everyone in this community love you all.
