Oak apple or oak nuts - nature photos #macrophotography

Hello friends!
An interesting fact is the ability of the oak to "bear fruit" yellow-pink nuts, through which in the midst of summer oaks become similar to August apple or nuts.
In the summer, these balls are green, but now they are yellow or brown. These balls are called "gallies" or oak apples.

> Мабуть, не раз ви збертали увагу на дубове листя до якого прикріплена зелена кулька. Ось цікавим фактом є здатність дуба – «плодоносити» жовто-рожеві горішки (кульки).
В літку ці кульки зеленого кольору, а от зараз жовтого або коричневого кольору. Ці кульки називають "гали" або дубові яблука.

я щось таке з дитинства пригадую, що мій дядечко десь якусь дурницю прочитав - типу він їх назбирав, вони в нього гнили в посудині, разом з якоюсь ржавою гайкою. на виході воно мало пустити сік і в нього мало бути якесь там супер гарен золоте чорнило)))  по факту воно скисло, засмерділося, і злилося в унітаз))) кароч, дуже корисна річ)))
