Is Steemit the next Facebook?  I think all of us on here agree.  It will be the next facebook.

Facebook, youtube, twitter, reddit and the like have a business model that is based on not rewarding curators at all for there time, effort and influence.  It is based on being parasitic entity that only takes takes takes from its users and curators.   Not to mention it owns anything you post of the platform.  They own your pics, posts and words.  You also have no privacy whatsoever and to top it all off, they are starting to dictate what is Fake News and what is acceptable news for people to indulge in.

The only benefit that is given is money either from advertising, using account page as a funnel for an online business or getting a massive amount of likes.  It is a system that has been working up until now.  

STEEMIT the social media revolution.  I like to call it a STEEMOLUTION.  Yes, corny but it's true.

Everyone knows that unlike literally every other social media platform, Steemit is the only one in which it rewards it's curators for simply posting anything they feel the need to.  The more it is liked or upvoted the more valuable to post is.

Some people on here get 500 a post, that's unbelievable.  You would never get that from youtube or facebook for just a post.

Once People start realizing that they can actually get paid for their interests it won't take them long to pull FACELEECH off and plug into the STEEMIT platform.

RIght now we see Facebook at record highs, and hell it could go higher.  As a Contrarian investor I would not touch Facebook.  Too much downside.  Now Facebook actually has viable competition because of the vastly different business model that STEEM brings.  You also own your pics on here which is the way it should be.  Plus steem is valued low with a lot of potential for a lot of upside once the masses wake up to the blockchain and how it is changing the internet and basically the world as we know it.

On top of that there are many programmers inventing new Steem programs that run on top of the Steem platform.  The possiblities are endless with the revolutionary business model.

Plus when you have steem and the price per unit goes up you make even more money.  It's a great investment for your time, that's for sure.  So many ways it can pay off.   All you need to do is invest time and your creative mind.  

That being Said Steem has rallied in the last 2 weeks and has actually tripled in price.  It looks like it has further to go as well.  Market cap has hit 200 million.  Also Steem has a higher pages viewed per user then Facebook has.  So it's already beating facebook in one aspect already.  

The best Way to invest in steem is to hold on the SP steem Power.  It gives you more influence on the platform and isn't inflationary like the Steem Crypto.   SBD Steem dollars isn't the best place to hold either since it's link to the usd dollar.  And how it keeps the Parity is in the Steem Whitepapers and is abit difficult to understand.  Eitherway just hold on to your steem power and only power down if you want to use the funds for another crypto or eventually put into your bank account.

All that needs to happen is for the masses to wake up and realize they can get paid for the posts.  Then you will start seeing FACELEECH dwindle down and possibly be the next MYSPACE in 5 - 10 years.  Only time will tell.  

As a contrarian, Steem is low right now and not in the public eye.  Barely anyone knows about it.  It also has great growth potential considering the superior business model it has compared to facebook, for the steem currency and steem power to rise in value making early adopters possibly rich.
