You may have decided to start or give up something.
And you may be wondering if you have enough talents to do it.
You have faced a problem, and now you know what is lacking in you.
The next question is, "How should I cover it?".

You may have lots of deficiencies in talents.
There may be lots of competitors who are better than you.
If you don't have enough skills, then compete with ideas.
If you are not good at creating new stories or ideas, then compete with your skill.

You may still have regrets over what you will give up.
Or what you have decided on is a second-best option, and you still feel pain in abandoning the fist option.

Concentrate on what is in front of you, and develop your talents, improve your skills for the second-best up until you feel you have done enough, then brood over the first option.
In your near future, you may have chances to appeal yourself, so be prepared for it, rather than think about what you won't do.

This year's appealing time, which will be coming soon, may be more self-satisfying rather than becoming successful with them.
But after the time is finished, you may be appreciated in an unexpected way.

It may not mean people will understand your torments or talents.
Instead, people find you "useful" when they work with you.
For example, a CEO can only appreciate you as an employee.
Even if you are talented in running a company, a CEO won't realize it, and will never assign you a leader of a new business, or an executive of the company, unless you are an excellent employee as well.
Generally speaking, people are only good at either of being a leader or employee, not both.
And those CEO tell the employees to work or think like a CEO, probably not knowing it.

Life is more exciting when we don't know what will happen next.

何かをやめる・やらないことにしたとしても。
最後は、「才能」の問題なのかもしれない。

あなたには足りないものがたくさんあるのかもしれない。
あなた以上のことができる人はたくさんいるかもしれない。
技術的に足りないのであれば、その分、企画の面白さで訴求していけばいいし。
新しいイメージやアイデアを出すのが得意でないのであれば、技術を磨けばいいのかもしれない。

真正面から問題に対峙し、足りないものが分ったのであれば、次は、それをどのようにして補っていくか、ということだと思う。

もう心は決まっていると思うし。
そのうち行動するチャンスもでてくると思う。
まあまだ雑念というか。
やめる・やらないことにしたものへの未練が残っていて最後の悪あがきをしたくなるかもしれないけど。
あなたが選択したものは、次善に過ぎないのかもしれないけど。

まずは、目の前のことに集中し、自分の才能やスキルをめいっぱい磨いてから、悩めばいいのではないかなと思う。
もうしばらくすると、自分自身や、才能、スキルをアピールする機会に恵まれる人もでてくると思うので、それに備えていきましょう。
今年のアピールする機会というは、社会的成功に繋がるというより、自己満足的なものになりがちかなとは思うけど。
さらにその先で、良い意味で思わぬ評価のされ方をされて、社会的成功をおさめる人もでてくるかなと思う。

まあ、評価されるといっても、所詮、他人はあなたのことを自分の都合でしか評価しないってことを痛感する時ではあるかもしれないけどね。
例えば、会社のCEOは、従業員を労働者としてしか評価しない。
ある従業員が経営者に向いていたとしても、その人が労働者として優秀でないと、新事業のリーダーにも役員にも抜擢しない。
一般論として、経営者に向いている人は労働者に向いていないし、労働者に向いている人は経営者に向いてないと思うのですがね。
そういう見る目のない自分を棚にあげて、経営者視点で仕事しろと従業員に言うわけですから、ほんとご愁傷様です。

何が吉とでるか分からない時なので。
