These lovely orchids were transplanted into a new pot looking sickly, but fertilizer every Friday, water once a week and placement where they got plenty of light in the protective shade of a Rick wall...

And they grew strong and green,and then....

The miracle of life...plant life that is...no sentient, but still amazing, these lovely blooms developed. And much bird shooing later these beautiful, rich colored flowers greeted me!

The tenacity of this plant, its refusal to wither and die remind me of a favorite saying from my father...
