Do you sometimes suffer from not being able to come up with ideas?  Here are a few tips to help you through the tough times!

* Keep a notebook.  You get ideas all the time, but lose them almost a quick as they come.  Have a notebook that goes everywhere with you so you can jot down quick ideas when you have them.  Keep it by your bed, too!

* Ask!  Ask your students and readers what they want to learn about!

* Scan the Headlines.  Checking out the news, or what everyone is talking about in the world lately, is a great source of inspiration for material.  Google Trends is a handy resource.

* Read.  A lot.  And vary the genre.  The more you learn and open your mind to, the more material you have for others.

* Talk about it! Get into a natural discussion with someone and let it flow, and capture some ideas!

* Resurrect.  Go over something you have covered before, but with a twist or different angle, or add more information.

* Kill Your Comfort Zone. Think outside of the box and try something new- perhaps a new topic.  Even if it doesn't work, you may have sparked new ideas!

* Take up a New Hobby.  By trying a new thing yourself, you will have plenty of new things to teach others or write about!  And the best way to learn and retain information is to teach the subject to others. 

* Get Moving.  Exercise brings oxygen to the brain and helps it to operate more efficiently.  

* Relax! Sometimes you can prohibit the creative process by thinking too hard!  If you are finding it difficult to come up with ideas, step away and do something easy and relaxing to give your brain a well needed break.
