Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 19/5/2021.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for now over 4 years.
If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average daily STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 19/5/2021.

### I missed a few price updates as I have felt very unwell, not sure exactly what caused it but it stared with a blocked nose and eventually a rough throat. Then the following day at work I started to feel very drained of energy, when I got home I was so tired I climbed into bed and without sleeping I stayed there unable to move until nearly 3 in the morning. At 3am is when I was finally able to get up, and boy was I hungry. It was a strange experience, I have had similar but not usually so severe, it was honestly not a nice experience but luckily the next day felt much better. Still here we are in the middle of May and my hope was that the weather would finally get better compared to some of the frosty days we had back in April, but heck I must of been wishing for crazy as the mornings and at night it's been mostly rather cold. The only time it's usually pleasant is the late afternoon when the sun comes out for maybe 3 hours, but I admit these last 2 weeks have been a improvement except it does keep raining for a few minutes here and there. So I finally learned what happened to the lady I had to cover which was now sometimes ago. Unfortunately what I discovered was not pretty, turns out her mother and grandmother were out driving and the mother started speeding and overtaking others on the road... this lead them into crashing their car. The grandmother went through the front window and died.. and as for the mother she as remained in a coma ever since, it's sad but like I have said before guys "Don't Do Speeding" it's seriously not worth it! Since one of my superiors as left the company I have worked less volatile shifts and I'm really enjoying it this way, I can even say it improves many things for me with my day to day life. But as I said one of our colleagues as taken over and I thought the position to not be a permanent one, my boss had been doing interviews which makes me think they are looking for someone with more experience and thus probably ending my regular routine. But I heard that the interviews are infact just for replacements of the people who are leaving which seems to be true as I have so far seen 4 new faces. Today I wasn't working or so I thought but as I was resting in bed still from this hayfever/cold thing I got a call asking me were I was at? Turns out I should of been at work..yikes! So I got up quickly got changed and got in quick enough that they didn't really complain. Which rightly so because I know someone in the inside messed up the schedule, at least nothing else changed during my shift unlike yesterday where our boss decided to take over my duties again and send us to having to reorganize ourselfs. One of our colleagues is in a spot of trouble, she told me that our boss was threatening to fire her over some mistakes she as made recently, while perhaps this lady isn't the brightest of people she does on the other hand carry the right attitude and energy and so I'm disappointed that our boss is being so horrible to her, I keep meaning to see how she is holding up, but it's nothing that surprises me when it comes to him. I learnt a colleague will most likely be leaving soon which is a shame as I get on well with her, plus she knows one of my friends from outside of work, I also find it pointless that she as been placed as the "Wellbeing" colleague recently if she's about to leave.. something I want to pick up on her about next time I see her. After work I have been taking the longer way home even done it 6 times in a row at one point which infact I had never done before but since I have been unwell and it's been raining I have not be able to. As with this lockdown regardless of still working during it I noticed some personal weight gain, and so I have continued to try and shed some of the weight off with small daily workouts and now steps. I will continue to do so until either work get's too hectic again or when everything opens up which is unfortunately around the same time of both those things. I was pleased that on April 11 I finally noticed some of the weight shifting and on another occasion April 29th, still there is a long way to go but happy to see at least some results. I had missed a whole bunch of workout days like 6 at one point but then managed 10 in a row. At one point I was getting some really good workouts but since being unwell I have not done them nor the steps. Well I still tried and have managed to get in 50k steps for the week with the target of 112k to hit, but hopefully when I get better I can start over.

### As for Tron I started by learning some of the basics, I then looked into "Tron Stacking" and done a few votes with my frozen Tron and after a few days I went back to check on these votes. I noticed that I had successfully earned a little Tron, well a whole $0.01 lol. I tried again and made $0.09 worth of Tron, I recently checked again and it done a nice jump as I now made $0.22 Tron. I hope to reach gains of $0.30 soon and so will see if I can get hold of more Tron so that I can upvote again and increase my Tron earnings.
### For the moment I will watch Steem as it's started to fall again, shame as not long ago we saw Steem hit $1.30+ again. Perhaps we wont see Steem fall back to $0.16 this year and so could this mean time is running out for the gathering of cheap Steem? Many thought Steem would hit $1.00 by June but actually on March 30th we hit $1.00 already, we experienced a fall after but there was some good recovery and so we beat the record again for the year. In April we took another hit a larger one, there as been some recovery and saw Steem hold above $1.00 but here it is falling a 3rd time after hitting 1.00+. The prediction from many on here is that Steem will hit $3.50 for the summer season and we are now seeing some recovery but with Bitcoins falling.. will it bounce back. Also the Steemit Crypto Academy is now on it's 2nd season and as really gained some momentum after it's break as many people have continued joining in for their weekly updates and doing all the "homework tasks". Did you know you are actually allowed to follow as many of the courses as you want? Which you could be rewarded for by taking part in with upvotes from the steemcurator01 or steemcurator02 accounts. ### πWe saw in April STEEM almost reached $1.45 but unfortunately even with the insane π°$50000 Bitcoin prices and yep Doge coins... STEEM as continued to not move much, which is a shame as people should be investing into this great coin as you can do so much more with it. But when was the last time you saw Steem at $1.00!? Well it was the downfall back in Sept 2018, yeah that's a long time to wait to see those kind of heights again but at least this time Steem didn't stray for too long when it went below $1 so let's hope the same is to happen this time around as Steem falls. The lowest Steem price this year as been $0.15 and the highest $1.43 which broke this years record on April 11th, the previous record for the year was on April 2th at $1.38. It would be nice to see if this year Steem can at least hold above $0.17 for most of 2021 so far it's going well. Still this brings opportunity as it's a good price to "power-up" your account, I don't say this as a way to improve your financial situation but rather to enjoy the benefits of having Steem, like speeding up your account's Steem accumulation or how much Tron you gain plus other general tasks within the blockchain etc.

We reached "π¬π¬QUAD DOLPHINπ¬π¬" this May 2th which means our collective STEEM POWER is now over πͺ20000 SP!! There are around 486 Quad Dolphin accounts, and if you add all those up alone "it's ALOT of Steem Power" like nearly 10mil, you going to join us or what? We will of course continue to collect and lock-up even more STEEM! My goal π is to now reach 25.000 SPπ, hopefully by Christmas 2021. ### βΊ The covid19 madness continues with us slowly coming out of lockdown as the government continues with it's roadmap of 5 week gaps between opening up sectors. The government often stated we were doing well listening to their rules for staying indoors but for months I have seen people out everywhere, it made headlines in the papers many times to which I wondered if this would affect when we are to FULLY open in June, but apparently notπ€·ββοΈ. The government have said that after this there will be no more lockdowns π and that we must treat the covid virus like a common flu, doesn't surprise me as people who had it "who I know personally" said it was like having the flu. However there as been recently talk of another lockdown coming after summer due to the new variant. And so the mass vaccination process continues.. it's said that now more than half of our population as had the first jab and those who are 37 are now getting their jabs done. More as opened since the 17th with people being allowed into venues in small groups. With the complete end of lockdown approaching there are mass arguments going on about whether on not by June if we should all still be wearing masks, yet seems the kids will no longer need to wear them but certain schools are now fighting to keep children wearing their masks. The government wants to give employers powers to sack staff who refuse to be vaccinated, which I don't see how that is giving people a choice..π€·ββοΈ? The most effective vaccine was said to be around %95 effective but it's also been reported to be far less and I have seen the government often state that they "even after all this testing" don't know exactly how effective it is against the virus. βΊ The Oxford vaccine was paused in many countries as it may have been causing blood clots but there are also others going into hospital having problems with severe side effects from the various vaccines. But yet they keep pushing for people to take it and we might also have to take many more jabs for all the different variants, plus a yearly one. How will our bodies react to so much of this stuff being pumped into us I wonder? These companies are rolling in our moneyπ. Remember they firstly said this was a "cure" but then said it would protect you for up to 9 months, later it was only for 5 months.. they simply don't know. Scientists have told us even with the vaccine you can still catch covid and you can still pass it on to others, seems people are finally getting that its very possible. I have been told by friends who's parents have had their jabs that even the nurses will tell you while vaccinating that this doesn't mean your fully protected. It did seem very rushed and why aren't we doing this for all the other thing's that are killing even more people? I saw a graph published from a paper news site that for once showed us the number of people who recovered from covid and it basically indicated there is mostly a %97 chance of survival in most places, and as for the deaths if you took the number of people who normally die from other things, the covid numbers were indeed strangely similar to those, and so I guess it could be possible that they were replacing the cause of death from other things to covid. The vaccine minister wanted people to take the vaccine or get shut out from society, meaning you wouldn't be able to buy food, attend a school, watch movies at the cinema or travel anywhere, to which I then don't see how exactly this would be giving the public a choice?π€·ββοΈ He changed his mind about that statement but basically news came out back in April that they were going ahead with this plan, but because of the severe backlash from the idea it might be now only a "temporary plan" and only to be used at bigger events, funny how that works... So perhaps still in the pipeworks as Mr Bill Gates is said to be working on the technological system for a vaccination type passport, also I heard that divorced that Bill is having isn't a friendly one. There was news that from June after opening that any clothing stores would require you to have a covid green passe to enter. There is also much going on with the covid virus in India as it's been causing havoc, hope the people there can find the resources and strength to pull through it. I have worked all during this crisis as our company used a loophole within the system to keep us all working despite our government stating that all non-essential work places must shut-down. I just hope that this coming June I wont have to talk as much about covid anymore but my hopes are not too high on that happening just yet...
