Hello, my dearest friends!  Today I decided to show photos of our products of Kuban masters, who recently photographed at the fair of arts and crafts.

At exhibitions there are many funny and original works that immediately attracted attention. From the abundance of colors and colors in the first minutes even rippled in his eyes.

Here and ordinary doll's knitted houses, looked great and attracted enthusiastic looks. They were as if from our childhood fantasies or from favorite fairy tales.

All the guests were met by this smiling beauty. Past her without a smile was impossible to pass.

And near the toy Russian stove rested the whole doll family.

Please note that the rugs, towels and tablecloth on the table is also handmade.

Such dolls have long been decorated with peasant huts. It could be a motanky doll, and dolls, amulets and herbalists. Dolls were filled with fragrant herbs and dressed in natural colorful outfits.

In our region there are ancient traditions of creating talismans. So, it was decided to tie a red ribbon on the head of the doll, symbolizing youth and beauty. If the braid woven ribbon blue, it was evidence of a successful marriage.

Everyone could visit the master classes, where they told in detail what made these or other dolls.

In some dolls inside put peas, buckwheat or millet. Others were filled with medicinal herbs (lavender, chamomile, thyme, St. John's wort or mint).

In the past, the Kuban Cossacks and Cossacks believed that such dolls are a symbol of wisdom and can become the guardians of the hearth.

In the traditional Russian culture, the doll was at the center of many calendar and family ceremonies, and served as a mediator in the relationship between man and the natural world.

Dolls served as a talisman for babies. There were also different rules for making such dolls. For example, 3 elements had to be present in clothes:

- the skirt that symbolized the ground,
- long-sleeved shirt (connection with the past, present and future),
- and bright scarf on his head (connection with the sky).

These dolls did with their hands almost each Kuban family. For their production it was not necessary needles, just several multi-colored scraps and beautiful bright threads. 

I also tried to make a doll right at the exhibition. Exciting and quite easy.

The more experienced needlewomen explain everything in detail, show, help, if suddenly the first time something does not work.
