<h2>Market conditions:</h2>
The bitcoin crashes that occurred over five years ago are not really discussed today, everyone appears to be focused on the price of Bitcoin today and how it is significantly higher. With that being said (I am not providing any financial advice) One of the main reasons why I have invested my time, energy and effort in to this industry is because I believe in this technology and that we are only at the beginning. Later on I will go into detail about why I think this and what the true value of this technology really is. But first let’s talk about Sparkster.
<h2>What is Sparkster’s vision for the Blockchain industry?</h2>
Firstly, I want to share with you my vision. Let’s start with the ICO industry, why did the ICO industry start? What did it facilitate?
It empowered and facilitated people to be able to participate in the funding of companies. This revolutionary technology made it accessible and partly safe to do so. This is one of the key capabilities that blockchain technology brings. It enables us to have or create trust, where it was difficult or did not exist before. When you purchase a token, this represents a total float of tokens. You are receiving something in exchange for the amount you contributed. This shows how blockchain technology has the ability to create trust, facilitate trust between parties and entities and gives rise to people powered businesses.
An example of people powered businesses are AirBnB and Uber. The majority of revenue earned by these companies is distributed to the people that are participating in that network.
<h2>Sparkster solves the impedance and barriers to realizing this vision:</h2>
One of the inherent limitations we have is that a contract isn't a business, a smart contract is a contract for executing logic but it isn't a platform for a business. It would be difficult, almost impossible to build Airbnb using an ethereum smart contract.
Sparkster has the ability to create Smart Software. This smart software gives rise to the AirBnB’s and the Uber’s of the future because we empower you to create full blown software that runs on blockchain.
<h2>If we are going to realise this vision and make this a reality, what do we need:</h2>
One of the great complexities is that building for blockchain architecture is complicated, it's difficult and cumbersome, you need to understand consensus, encryption etc.

<h2>Why does Sparkster need 10 Million TPS:</h2>
Imagine you are buying something on Amazon’s web store, every product you add to the cart is a software transaction. Adding ten products to the cart is a minimum of ten software transactions but you only make one payment transaction. So if we are going to run software on the blockchain and on decentralised infrastructure, then we need to have an environment that has EXTREMELY HIGH TPS. This is the Sparkster Decentralized Cloud.

<h2>Is this technology for technology's sake? Why does this make sense? </h2>
There is a wonderful book written by Geoffrey Moore called Crossing the chasm. This book articulates the challenges presented by the very problem we face today in blockchain, adoption. The visionaries who are excited by a new technology are often called innovators and early adopters. Moore addresses the question of how we cross the chasm between early adopters and what's known as the early majority? How do we go from 3% market penetration to the 18% market penetration?
In summary, the early majority are pragmatic, they do not adopt technology for technology's sake, they are not visionaries. They adopt technology when it is the only way to solve a problem they have. Put another way , they adopt technology when it puts dollars and cents in their pockets. This is a problem we in the blockchain industry have, we don’t have a lot of proposals for how blockchain puts dollars and cents in people’s pockets, how we solve real problems, for real people, in the real world. So why is Sparkster different?
<h2>Why is the future of Cloud Computing is Decentralized?</h2>
Traditional cloud providers such as Amazon have unavoidable overheads such as physical security, air conditioning, physical server costs, backup power, diesel generators, maintenance staff etc. A decentralized cloud has NONE of these costs, and hence can operate at a price that the traditional industry will never be able to compete with!
As a member of this network, you could contribute your device or desktop computer while you’re sleeping or away from home. The Sparkster Decentralized Cloud is a network consisting of these devices.
