Introduction

In line with the vision and mission to decentralize the offline, to take steemit to our immediate communities for tangible impacts, encourage and empower talents from our nation outward, Steem accelerator hub, [STACH](@stach) proudly announces and presents @stach-uyo, the official steemit handle for the Stach offspring community in Uyo city, Nigeria.
## HUB OPENING.
The official live launching and opening of the Uyo city hub was held on the 20th of January, 2018, roughly over 2 weeks ago. Apologies are in order as regards the official introduction of this handle, and information on the activities status of the hub. Coming from various parts of the country, the event was grand and well-graced by community leaders and curators such as @ejemai. @gbenga, @fisteganos, @eurogee, @destinysaid, @nairadaddy, @sussan, @pangoli, @ewuoso, @samstickkz, etc… as well as over 50 steemians from the Uyo Community. We held talks on the blockchain, on community and the need for putting in our best towards ensuring the continued progress of the STACH, and the steem ecosystem in general.

## THE STACH COMMUNITY
> ***STACH started out as a rally/movement we tagged Project20millionNaija and since we have created a community on the offline space to do this, we see this project going much further than we originally anticipated. Users who will participate in our weekly challenge will win amazing prices.
This is in no way changing anything, but to ensure the original target of getting as much as 20 million Nigerian youths of Steemit a reality in the shortest time.***

## WHY THE HUB EXISTS
As a registered member of the Steem Accelerator Hub you will have unfettered access to:

* Available internet and Electricity: The hub exists as a portal to an uninterrupted power supply for members of the community. This eradicates the effects of the epileptic power supply in the city. 

* STACH upvote: As a member, you stand a better chance of getting at least an upvote from the STACH account weekly. We pride ourselves on creativity and quality. As such, the community looks out for and rewards strong, creative and well-constructed contents. Consistent support will help retain talented Steemit contributors and help them engage their audience.

* Coaching and Feedback: The accelerator will provide one on one daily support with lessons and tutorials on the blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and help users navigate the Steemit platform with ease. Help with Formatting and translation will be made available.

* Nomination: STACH will be nominating her members monthly for beneficial projects that will help them get global help and reach, i.e Sndcastle projects.
 
* Promotion: As it is with most things online, visibility is key on Steemit. The accelerator aims at exposing members to trending opportunities both offline and on the blockchain. Spotlights on new and existing articles and activities by members will be featured and resteemed weekly for an even wider reach!

## ACCOUNTS OPENED.
Since the hub’s launch in Uyo city, there’s been an increase in membership, as well as a corresponding increase in the activities and productivity of existing members on the platform. We have witnessed over 30 new members with already approved steemit accounts, and a lot more awaiting approval, making the Uyo community the fastest growing community in Nigeria.
