Bug:Writing tools for steemit post
Writing good post is the need of Steemit platform, With good post the author will get rewarded. A good post always contains a good content, not only this the content must be written in  the best of the best of bestest way. Writing good content with proper formatting and style make the post more beautiful and attractive.

Steemit provides the option of writing the content with two inbuilt option Editor & Markdown. Choosing the Editor option all the editing format are easily visible above the writing box , refer below images:

However, while making a post in Steemit, I have observed that as soon as we start writing the content the option of choosing **Editor** gets hided, which is a bug , there is no option  of Editor/Markdown available, in between of the content, refer below image

Also, once the post started to be written, there  is no basic inbuilt option again available to make formatting.except markdown styling guide. Would request the Steemit team to look into the issue and fix the bug to make it more user friendly.

My System Specification:
Windows 10
Browser : Google chrome version 63.0

Not to discourage you, this option is already available in steemit.com. You can see a small text link 'Editor' above the post textarea. Once you start typing then it disappears(may be for a reason?).

Yes you are right, if there is some content in the text box then the 'Editor' link disappear.  You can check when you go to 'post' and before writing any text in the box.

 If you are actually experiencing this, then it's definitely a bug. which you may want to report because from my end, everything seems to work fine. kindly refer to the Gif below
