<html> <p><img src="https://s26.postimg.org/xi93xwnmh/100_4893.jpg" width="1065" height="800"/></p> <p>I spread more anarchy literature as I reached the Pacific coast and dove into Seattle for the first time.</p> <p>Day 12 - August 12, 2017</p> <p><em><strong>Total Driving Time - 14,400 seconds! </strong></em></p> <p>Total Miles - Over 200</p> <p><em><strong>Music - Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody</strong></em></p> <p>Mood - Chilled And Fulfilled With A Dash Of Playfulness</p> <p>After looking over the options for things to do in Seattle, I decided to go to Pike's Place Market and then play it by ear from there.</p> <p>As I headed west from North Bend I got on the GPS and tried to find a diner for coffee and breakfast. As luck would have it, I found a GREAT diner, family owned and operated since 1967, called Lil John's in Bellevue, WA. I'm a sucker for mom and pop places, especially diners!</p> <p><br></p> <p><br></p> <p><img src="https://s26.postimg.org/mqg4wjxjt/100_4892.jpg" width="1065" height="800"/></p> <p> <a href="http://liljonrestaurant.com/about.html">http://liljonrestaurant.com/about.html</a> </p> <p>Luckily, this was a Saturday, so traffic wasn't so terrible going into downtown Seattle. However, I still found it difficult to find parking as I was trying to locate Pike Place Market, obey one way streets, watch out for pedestrians, and sing along with Queen simultaneously.....</p> <p>I found a garage for 25 dollars (which I guess, from what I was told, was reasonable for downtown Seattle). <em><strong>This makes me think that I should just open a parking lot and retire early...hmmmm....</strong></em></p> <p>Anyway, the market was intriguing. My favorite part was<em><strong> (get ready to know what a geek I am) </strong></em>the used book stores. I picked up an original James Bond novel, Casino Royale, by Ian Fleming and also one by Joseph Conrad called Nostromo. </p> <h2><em><strong>Now....onto Anarchy</strong></em></h2> <p>In one of the busiest buildings I could find, there was a giant newsstand. It must have had a couple hundred publications, at least. So I meandered around and tried to find the best spot to put my "Anarchy Packet".</p> <p>I found an area with military and war worship mags. Perfect! Regrettably, I didn't get a photo. The clerk was kind of eyeing me and I was a bit nervous (I know, what a chicken, right? What could he honestly do?).</p> <p><em><strong>So no pic. But here is the packet I left in the war worshiping section.</strong></em></p> <p><img src="https://s26.postimg.org/ax0cz8zyx/100_5110.jpg" width="1065" height="800"/></p> <p>After that little delivery, I booked it back to my car and headed out of town. Not too far, though. I went to visit family in western Oregon for a couple days.
