It sounds fun, but this is actually an abandoned amusement park. The park opened some 20 years ago but no one knows why the park closed down or why the rides weren't sold off. The spookiest thing is that, despite no electrictiy, some of the rides actually still move if you poke them. She starts from a village called Weesen where the roads are built into the steep mountains. From there she goes to another village called Amden to start her 1km walk to an observation platform with amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It truly is stunning there. The first is a gothic/renaissance style building that used to be a post office that dates back over 100 years. Next is the Domplatz with fountains spouting out from the grounds. Then there is a gothic style church that took 300 years to build, a monastery turned museum. And finally a modern bank building which offers a contrast to the rest.
