The two teams who hit the ice first on Sunday were the Central and Pacific division teams. MacKinnon was the first to put a goal on the board, at the 1:47 mark of the first period, and it turned out to be the only goal scored in the whole 10 minute first period in 3 on 3 hockey. In the second and final period, Doughty and James Neal puts 2 goals on the board for the Pacific division, subsequently, Subban answered the call for the Central division, MacKinnon was dished the assist. Shortly after Subban's one-timer, Rakell from the Ducks put one on the board, and to concede the game, Burns and Neal scored empty-netters, advancing the Pacific division to the Championship.

The second game was arguably more star-studded and action packed. The Metropolitan division led by Crosby and Ovy took on 4 Tampa Bay players in their home arena. Although the Metropolitan division was the losing team, Ovechkin and Crosby played stellar together, each scoring a goal and assisting on each others. The Tampa Bay native Kucherov scored 3 goals in front of his home crowd and put the Atlantic division over the edge. Mike Green on the Atlantic division also put up two goals.

The Pacific and Atlantic divisions were the two teams who advanced to the Championship. Team Pacific scored 3 goals in the first period of play, compared to the Atlantic's lone goal. Team Pacific dominated the Atlantic team in the second and final period of play as well, scoring 2 goals to the Atlantic's one. Scoring an aggregate total of 5 points to the home teams 2. Vancouver Canucks rookie Brock Boeser came out of All-Star Weekend with an MVP award, and a bonus of $337,000. Not bad for the rookie forward.
