The ACC Tournament rolls on to day 2 on Wednesday and gets started with what may be a “play in game” in the eyes of the NCAA Tournament Committee. The 19-12 Louisville Cardinals take on the 20-10 Florida State Seminoles. The game tips off at 11am Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on ESPN. Florida State is favored by 1 point and the over/under is 152.5 points

What a chaotic year it has been for Louisville. They lost their Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino due to a pay for play scandal and possible payments to hookers. Although Pitino’s hands remained clean from the points of contact, he was still too close to all of the issues and had to go. Pitino was the highest paid basketball coach in the country. Even with all of that stress on the program, they still put together a solid season. Junior Deng Adel is leading the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game and has his squad looking like they are a win or two away from making the big dance.

The Florida State Seminoles have had a good year after losing plenty of scoring to the NBA. Yet they still were able to run a high powered offense and are 29th in the country in scoring. Junior Terance Mann is leading the offensive attack with 13.3 points per game. The Seminoles have a balanced attack though and it will take all of them to break through the vaunted Cardinal 2-3 zone. FSU will need to take advantage of their fast break opportunities and try and keep Louisville out of a half court game.
