Recently, the Suns are aggressively searching for an all-star point guard to pair with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Their primary targets are Damian Lillard, Kemba Walker and even Terry Rozier. Lillard is their priority but it seems that the Suns have no shot in acquiring Dame. The Suns also has no decent player to offer in exchange for the all-star point guard.

Portland has struggled in the playoffs these past few years and always came up short during crucial games. But even Portland struggles year after year it’s still not a good move to trade their franchise player. Why would they trade their best player? Lillard is in his prime and it’s not time for Portland to start a major rebuild. Portland needs some roster adjustment. They’re already a good team. They even surprise the league after finishing third in the Western Conference last season. I think the Suns have no chance in getting Lillard. It just doesn’t make sense for Portland.

Even if they failed getting Lillard and try to get their other targets, I think there’s still no hope for them in acquiring Terry Rozier and Kemba Walker. Kemba is also in his prime and the Hornets would not want a rookie or a young player who has not proven his worth in the league in exchange for Walker. The all-star point guard has been in the trade talks recently but I’m sure the Hornets are expecting big names to offer for their Franchise player.

Same thing goes to Rozier as he plays terrific basketball last season for the Boston Celtics. Rozier has been a big part of their playoff run last season and he already show the league that he’s a rising star and a future all-star. He played with no fear and thrive in big moments in the playoffs. Rozier is really something and the Celtics would not want to part ways with him very early even if he plays off-the-bench next to Kyrie Irving.
