The one thing I am a bit afraid of is the volatile of these games. Steem monsters was new, everybody got into steem monsters. Now with drugwars, all people are aiming for that (because of the nice ROI). But is it temporary ?!? Who knows, we'll have to see in a year. But I do think games are a great market to get much more people to the blockchain...

Exactly. Some people do well from Monsters as others will pay a lot for good cards, but I haven't sold any yet. I think they need mobile versions of that games as that is a massive market.

There's no doubt it is a case of diminishing returns with DrugWars. Today Im expecting 4.1 STEEM, another drop of half a STEEM from yesterday. Im wondering how long it will take to get back my investment.

is it a a game, or a front for a game? Im not so sure. They need to make use of VP, 100% is simply wasteful.

They should definitely put their profits into SP and vote on stuff. That will earn them something in curation. I'm just getting a tiny amount back. Not that worried about getting it all. I'm just not seeing the game as that interesting to me. When they start paying referrals they will have even less to distribute, but some big Steemians are likely to do well from that.

I have already started to see a decrease in the ROI on DrugWars.  Unless you are constantly able to put STEEM into it to stay a top producer as more and more people join, you are only going to see your "take" decrease until it is pretty much nothing.  I agree there needs to be a better model moving forward otherwise it will not be sustainable.  It is still early adopter stages though, so I am sure improvements will come.

I think that is definitely a possibility.  I noticed this morning that battles are disabled(for now).  Fine by me, that is probably my least  favorite aspect of the game.  I work hard for my stuff.  I don't want to have to worry about people stealing it.

I agree with you, once the hype dies the game will start crumbling down, people that got in late won't get anything, and the people that got in early will get the vast majority of the rewards... They need to fix the economy of the game or it won't last...

Steem has one of the best and most actives communities around, even this deep in the bear market we are still making progress and still have lots of users! The amount of marketing any dapp instantly gets by coming to steem makes the dapp go to the top of the most used dapps easily! That's the power of the STEEM community!
