Thanks for the advice. I was trying to come up with a 'headline' that would grab people's attention, but I guess that I missed the real point that I was trying to convey. Lesson learned. What I really need (and probably many others do to) is a Steemit mentor ;) I'm pretty sure that I've seen this idea mentioned before, but I'm not sure if it really got off of the ground either (probably also fits in with communities etc)...

yeah, I think that there are some mentorship programs, but I am not sure of them. Honestly, the best way I can help people quickly and efficiently is on here when someone posts a question inside of my posts.I do get a lot of responses, to which I do not always answer, but if you're persistent, I will answer you. I already feel an affinity with you because of your interest in steemgigs and your logical thinking patterns. so, i can help as much as possible. when we have groups, this will all be so much easier. i am spread out pretty thin right now because I am a faciliator, editor, creator, writer, both in here and in Dash. I'm working like an insane person, connecting mainstream people, with crypto people, etc. Super-connector type stuff....and doing visionary stuff with writing....and Hackernoon, plus being the editor of Dash For Newbies...it's a lot.
