［生活］院中小鸟妈妈喂食

每年春天，我们家的院子里就会有很多各种各样的小鸟在地上和树上觅食。某生说他看到最多的一次，也许有上百只吧。我自己没见到，所以很怀疑他有夸张的成分。

“快来看，院子里有鸟妈妈在给小鸟喂食” 某生喊到。

我嘀咕着”你怎么知道是鸟妈妈？“

走到门口一看，果然是一只鸟妈妈在给三只小鸟喂食。鸟妈妈的羽毛颜色比较深；三只小鸟的羽毛颜色相对来说淡了非常多。这三只小鸟跟在鸟妈妈后面，看到鸟妈妈在地上草丛间寻觅，找到食物后，就转过开用嘴巴喂给小鸟吃。

这几只小鸟不知道有多大，但是，都已经可以飞了。而且，他们跟在鸟妈妈后面，学着鸟妈妈在草地上寻找。

看了一会，鸟妈妈带着其中的两只飞走了，不知道这只小家伙为什么还独自留在草地间？某生说跟它这样，很容易无法存活。好在这个小家伙自己一人在草地呆一会后就朝着鸟妈妈飞走的方向飞去。

某生说鸟是地域性很强的动物，因此，他相信这小鸟可以找到自己的妈妈。

今年春天是新英格兰区空气中花粉含量最高的年份，加上少雨，很多人都遭受过敏的折磨。连我这么经得起折腾的人都深受其害。因此，现在在户外的时候也比较少。家里的院子就成为各种鸟类的乐园。疫情前大多数时间都不在家里，现在反而有更多的时间来思考和观察。

我对鸟儿的种类并不了解，但是经常在院子里看到各种很漂亮的鸟。某生告诉我更多的是bluejay，robin，还有一些羽毛都是黄色的小鸟；有的鸟肚子是鲜艳的红； 究竟是什么鸟自己也搞不清楚。但是，每天坐听鸟声，偶尔有时间静静旳站着欣赏一下鸟儿们的活动，日子似乎也停不错的。甚至偶尔有点陶渊明的世外桃源的恍惚，这也是住在乡下的一个好处吧？
