Where would you go on a domestic trip in Finland? (For that matter, I don't know where in Finland you are, so that might make a difference too.)

I did some road-tripping in Finland a couple of years ago and it was really fun. Hoping to get back before too terribly long.

Finland a rather interesting place I do not know many tourist places there, I always see places like Spain, the United States, etc, I do not know anything about finland I live in Latin America venezuela, hoping also to be able to hear the beautiful Adele some day she is the best love your voice.

I am not married I do not have children either but I have close friends who are and have their children life changes when the little ones arrive in the family, they do not usually do the same things as before they have them but they still enjoy telling me that they try to separate some time to spend time alone with their partners but they usually do it already when the children are a little bigger

getting away even if it's for a couple days or a day . should be done .
This is something we talk about all the time . We talk but we are still here . even a day trip would be nice . I even suggested that we move to one of those privileged countries LOL . I too would have to bring my food . not an easy task . Has to be worse for the little one
Everyday things get better . Never as fast as we would like . Slow and steady, one thing at a time is what I keep saying . Family doesn't come first they come always ! no matter what

I am the exact same way, but i really wish I could convince my wife of this.  She tries to explain to me that part of her travelling experience is enjoying  staying in beautiful rooms and surroundings, whereas I like to get out and see the backstreets and meet the locals.

I too have been extremely fortunate to have traveled a bit in my youth and I wouldn't trade it for anything.  We are leaving in a few weeks for a week at the beach with other family members to help share the expense.

I agree with you on travel philosophy, and could care less about the hotel I'm staying as long as it's clean and secure. I do splurge on concert tickets if I can while traveling, especially on festivals. I feel like at the festivals I get a better view of local culture.

I never care about hotels too. In many of my journeys I never rented in a lodge or hotel. I would simply sleep in the railway/bus stations in an open space. And for bathing and other purposes all I need is a small money. This method is impossible to enact since you have a family. If steem goes really well, consider visiting countries from far away regions as well.

I need a vacation! But this year I'm sending my Wife to Hawaii for her 40th instead. She will spend 2 weeks with her Mom, 2 Sisters, and Aunt. We couldn't afford to have us all go and this is my Wife's dream vacation. She has wanted to visit Hawaii since I met her 22+ years ago. 

While she enjoy the island I will be home with our Girls trying to juggle life. Should be interesting to say the least.

We are going to pull the kids from school next week and take them back to the Museum of Science and Industry. This trip with my Sister's kids should be a lot of fun. Things like this will likely be my vacations for this year due to our entire budget and then a lot more going towards my Wife's Vacation...but she does deserve this trip. 

Planning trips with kids is so much harder then when it's just adults. To have to take into account dietary issues too, sounds like a PITA. Sorry you have to deal with that.

We all need a break this summer. It has been a stressful year so far. Finland sounds like an interesting place to visit, although I do not know much about it. However, I would really love to read a publication on your brother's adventurous visit to Finland. Nice music by the way.

Good man. I like the way you see and think about things, must be a family thing as galen is much the same. Value in what costs less, these things are after all the most valuable aren't they. 

Adele's voice, the thought of family and holiday is a very emotional notion indeed. 

You're doing well and teaching many along the way on how to do better while growing yourself.
