Great point about the beliefs. I see it daily. People are espousing ideas that were present 100 years ago yet has not really been validated since. The world unleashed historic easing (printing) over the last decade. Globally, we saw $23 TRILLION put out by central banks. At that point, the world should have seen global hyperinflation...it didnt happen. Why not?
