## Self-Confidence
Self-confidence is really crucial element that affects our development deeply. When a person is not confident, it is likely for that person to be unsuccessful in many works that he/ she is going to do in life. Self-confidence is an important characteristic that all people must gain. When I think about myself, I see myself quite self-confident person.
I have been a volunteer, project-promoter and teacher. As you can see in the photo above, I have promoted self-development projects in Slovenia, the country where I have been European Voluntary Service volunteer. Joining in international projects is really important to gain self-confidence. I have improved myself a lot by attending in many promoting-sessions.
By joining this kind of sessions, I haven't only improved myself, but also helped young people to feel more confident and be initiative to break the barriers that are constantly blocking them to go further in their lives. As teachers, I feel that all people who are like me must spread the information with all others to help them broaden their mind. Self-confidence is gained when you break the blocks that surround you!

## Spreading The Valuable Information
No matter how old they are, many people are in need of inspiration and some stories that might help them feel confident. When I tell my travelling, volunteering or teaching stories, others always have tendency to try to do the same thing just like me. Gaining self-confidence is not an easy task to achieve. All role models like me have really significant mission to lead these people who are in need of us.
People don't always give decisions that will end with a good result. However, it doesn't really matter. As long as you give that decision and feel comfortable with it, you are always right. You don't have to justify your decision to others. This is very crucial in developing self-confidence. I have always tried to tell people that I have met during my Erasmus and volunteering experiences. Many people were against me when I told my friends in Turkey that I was going to be a volunteer in Slovenia, but it didn't affect me a lot and the decision that I took was the sign of my self-confidence.

## Children
Children are the ones who teachers need to touch carefully. As they are shaped mostly by us and parents, we have to be really careful while doing tasks and giving speeches to them. As they are usually timid and shy to be initiative in their decisions which affects their self-confidence in a terrible way, there are lots of things that we can do to help them get better in the rest of their lives.
As a teacher, I usually give my students who are in different ages some tasks and projects to work on. They are sometimes hesitant to do tasks by themselves, so it is always a good idea to organise them working in pair or group works so that they can feel confident together. The crucial point in these activities is to show them that they will achieve something which will make them feel proud and confident at the end of their works. ## Adventures
To gain the confidence, we must also cross the border that we always fear to go over. When I talk to my students about things that they would like to do in their lives, they are usually unsure about their wishes. It is not because they don't have any dreams, but they are hesitant, timid and unconfident. To help them feel more secure and eager to go over their fears, I tell them what I have do in my travelling experiences and see them smiling with confidence.
Confidence can't be gained by only telling them to be so, we must show them some concrete objects like presentations and videos that they can see and feel the motivation to go on similar adventures. That is one efficient and entertaining way of gaining confidence. They must know that they can't gain confidence by just sitting on their seats and doing what others tell them to do. They must be initiative to achieve things.
