Oh how I love @ginabot. Most days she lets me know of comments people make that mention my name, new people who follow me, new posts with the #payitforwardtag, and alerts to some of my favorite authors postings. 

Today GINA showed me that even when I think everything is all good, it may not be.

So the last few days I've noticed an increase in posting by someone I follow and today it was to a point of being truly annoying. I noticed a post that I thought was cool art and decide to upvote it and then leave this comment:

>Have you considered taking all the manipulations from the same photo and put it into 1 post? In the last 24 hours you have posted 42 times, my feed is overloaded man. Love seeing your work, but your killing me here.

Yes, you read that correct **he posted 42 times** in a 24 hour window at the time I commented. It was crazy, every other to every 3rd post in my feed was him with very similar art. A single image post with a different manipulation of the same photo for numerous posts followed by the same for a different image. Now he makes some cool art, or I wouldn't have followed him in the first place. But 42 posts in a day is overkill no matter who you are.

Anyways it seemed like he didn't mind the suggestion and replied with:

>Yes. Good idea.

To which I replied:

>Glad you didn't take that wrong. Like your work and enjoy looking at it, but think right now half my feed is your posts...lol. Makes it take much longer looking at everything and then I end up skipping many of your posts also because if it.

And his reply (which he then deleted later in the day):

>I should probably go back to posting once a day or less and just post all my practice stuff on Instagram.

All is good at this point in my mind and would have stayed that way if it wasn't for one of my favorite tools, GINAbot. 

Then GINA alerts me a while later that someone muted me. Odd I haven't had any spats with anyone or posted anything controversial. Then I realized who it was...I was kind of shocked. Then 30 minutes later GINA tells me that he unfollowed me.  

Now a little annoyed and confised I decided to use another of the tools which never has a chance to make it back into my toolbox as it's used so often to do a little homework. [Steem World](https://steemworld.org/) is just amazing with all the stats you can pull up, voting history, percentages, payouts, and the history of accounts...even the deleted comment was there.

So while digging i was curious about the level of voting support I had given. So looked at the stats which show Incoming Votes and I have given 14 upvotes in the last 7 days. Then I wondered how many of his outgoing votes went to me. At this point I'm rationalizing why I shouldn't care about being unfollowed...we all coupe in some way right?

Anyways SteemWorld showed this person has pretty poor voting habits, Voting CSI ( 52.89 % self, 196 upvotes, 58 accounts, last 7d ) and not a single upvote was given towards me. Absolutely no loss to me loosing this follower meaning all annoyance went out the window and didn't care enough to remain confused.

### My Tool Box
This isn't my complaining that someone decided to unfollow me, I don't really care at this point and never would have posted about just that. Rather this event provided an example at the amazing power of a couple of free tools that keep me informed. GINA helps my engagement with my followers as she lets me know each time I'm mentioned, they allow me to understand more about my habits and the habits of others, and in the end they help me coupe with and then dismiss the loss of a follower.

If you don't use @ginabot or [Steem World](https://steemworld.org/) at least take a look at them and how they might benefit your blogging experience. Another tool that I really like is [SteemDunk](https://steemdunk.xyz/) as it allows me to set up a few autovotes for members that I would like to reward each day with an autovote. You can adjust the percentage, how many minutes after posting you vote, and how many posts per day to vote on.
